Commandos 3 : Destination Berlin is Free today only at Green Man Gaming. No trade-ins allowed for this one, but it comes with a 10% voucher of some sort as well. It's a discount good on these games

Best Buy's Deal of the Day for 6/22 is Just Dance 3 : Best Buy Exclusive Katy Perry Edition for $11.99. It includes a download code for "Teenage Dream" and "ET". Not at all a bad deal at all if you want something else to play on the Kinect.

Man, I hate covers. I wonder how much that asshole Brahms was asking for his original master recording.

Yup, Just got SC V for $10. Great deal. Kicking myself for buying SSX for $20 or $30 a few months ago. Still between this and the Deadliest Warrior freebie, the Gamer Club Unlocked has paid for itself. Everything else this year is gravy.

This is a coupon you can get out of that BB magazine right? Not something you have to be a paid gamer club member to get?

They have them, though they ran out so I missed out on the Arkham City deal a while back.
If you get a subscription, you get the first mag in the store...but pay close attention at the checkout, as I think it defaults to a digital subscription and the checker has to change it to physical.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
I realize that this information no longer really belongs in the Videogame Deals Thread, but tomorrow (Tuesday, June 26th) is another all-videogame Amazon Goldbox day. So that's happening.

They're just biding their time, waiting to catch everyone off-guard...and then, one day, they'll have amazing deals all day long on games that people want to buy. Then everyone will be excited about Amazon again.
Or more Wii dancing games. One of those two things.

Maybe they'll have a good deal on Daiktana also, I've always wanted to play that.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
I assume everyone here still checks CAG daily for deals, but in case someone missed it this morning : Best Buy dropped the price of Deadliest Warriors to $19.99 yesterday. That may seem like no big deal, but there's a current coupon for $20 off in this month's @Gamer magazine. It requires a manager's override, but I can confirm with the coupon the game is free. They're rapidly running out of copies -- I had to settle for a PS3 version instead of the 360, but that's not too much of a hardship since the PS3 version comes with six episodes of the Spike TV show the game is apparently based on.

Surprised how easy this was at Best Buy last night. Went in, asked guy for magazine, he handed me one. Gathered up SSX, Soul Caliber V and Deadliest Warrior. Out the door 2 minutes later spending $26 total.

Surprisingly, the magazines aren't free. Neither are the games, HDTVs, Blu Ray players or the iPads, just in case you tried to walk out of the store with those as well.

To be fair, if a cashier just handed me a game, HDTV, Blu Ray player, or iPad, I would just walk out of the store.
Yesterday the kid at JCP gave me 20% off instead of 10% just because. I didn't balk either. Please don't think less of me.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Well at least he didn't take the magazine or even rip anything out of it so it was probably just an honest mistake.

Nah, I was just being a smartass; tried to be funny and failed. Not the first time and won't be the last.
They should have kept the coupons though -- they put them in the register to balance out the receipts, so they shouldn't have just scanned the coupon and put the magazine back. That sounds like a CS error.
When I signed up for the membership, they charged me $15, gave me a magazine in-store, but the clerk somehow forgot to attach that Gamer Club Reward Zone membership to my Reward Zone number. I've been trying to get it fixed over the phone for over six months now. I get my magazines, but it never shows up that I'm "Unlocked", though checking my (long and ugly) purchase history, they all can see that I should be. Finally I went into the store that sort-of sold me the membership and they just renewed me for another year. Now the problem is finally solved and I get like an extra 7 issues of the magazine to boot. I still don't know why corporate couldn't fix the problem after so many phone calls, but at least it's fixed now.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
I went today and picked up a magazine membership along with Soul Caliber V and Deadliest Warrior. I didn't bother asking for a free copy of the magazine to get the coupons from. I figure that if I use a coupon from time to time then the subscription will be well worth it.
