PS3 with backwards capabilities?
I am going to get a PS3 soon and the main reason I want it is because of the Blu-Ray and I loved the idea of play old games. There are some games on PS2 I like but I don't know if I will be able to play it on a PS3. I heard they stop making them with PS3 is there a easy way to check if they stopped making it with that feature? I would love to get a PS3. I will get it anyway because of the blu-ray but I would also love to play some games in the ps2 on the ps3. I am prob gonna but it through Wal-Mart.com because I have a discount and order at site to store for free shipping. Any advice? Any other good places to look?

If you are willing to shell out the money you could probably get one of the 60gig original PS3 or the 80 gig on E-bay since both models have been discontinued at the retail level. Your best bet is to just buy a new PS3 as planned and pick up a used PS2. It will cost less money and hassle.

I wonder if Sony will ever release a "special edition" PS3 that has backwards compatibility once again. I've got one of the original 60GBs, but was thinking of picking up a second at some point for an additional blu-ray player.
