Carcassonne is on sale for the first time since it went Universal like 3 years ago.

6.99 marked down from 9.99

A great board game.

A great board game.

I'd be tempted if it was free on Android just the other day.

I'm waiting for Settlers of Catan to go back on sale.

Android version was done by a different studio. I picked it up on sale today but haven't played it yet. Many folks on the Geek consider it to be the best implementation of a board game on iOS and consider it the gold standard for multiplayer.

Once I get a chance to play it I can give more knowledgeable feedback.

I paid $9.99 for it about a year and a half ago and don't regret it at all. Haven't played the online multiplayer in quite a while, but it plays great.

Pretty good slate of freebies the last few days, you all might want to check your appshopper or app app of choice.

There are literally dozens of great games on sale or free this season, new sales popping up pretty much every hour. Check your appshopper or similar app app regularly around holidays.

I've been playing Duet (http://www.duetgame.com/) on my wife's iPhone 5S.
Super addicting. I highly recommend it. :)
Not available on any other platforms (yet)

playing this now as well. it dropped to 99 cents this week so i gave it a shot.
and yeah, it's really addicting...hard enough for a challenge but not stupid hard where you want to throw the device across the room.

some levels can seem really hard and you keep trying over and over and then...then something just clicks and you flow through the level like magic.

if you can imagine being the thief in Ocean's 12 dancing through the laser field, that's kinda how it feels like.

I've been playing this game called Out There. You're an astronaut who finds himself stranded in deep space, and you have to visit different star systems to find resources to get home. Along the way, you encounter aliens, wormholes, asteroid fields, etc. etc. It's really addicting and VERY difficult.

Now that "Flappy Bird" has been taken off the market, does anybody know of a similar game?

Trevor 02-28-14 04:26 PM

I prefer the Cthulhu version

You'd think that at least one person would want to capitalize on the hype and release a clone.

Kids at my school have been playing something similar called Steel Pants. And I think there is a clone called Splashy Fish or somesuch.

I can't even begin to understand.

Technology to clone a game is decades away.
