Anyone else playing Blockheads? It's somewhat like a 2D minecraft. I can't stop playing.

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk
Not a game, but everyone should grab the new app, One Second Everyday while it's free. I was skeptical after seeing it on CNN, but it's truly wonderful.
Also, Target is clearing out some iOS controller hardware, YMMV of course, but my local ones have a fishing controller for $10, the Gameloft Duo for $20, and the Atari Arcade for $35. I bought the Duo, but may return it unopened. Anyone try it? |

Can we see your One Second Everyday videos? I'm interested what makes it truly wonderful to film a second of my miserable life everyday and share it with people who don't give a shit.
Obviously, it won't mean as much to people who aren't close friends or family, you'll miss the references and inside jokes. The plane flying over my head has the shuttle on it for example. But I'd love to have videos of my close friends and family going through the decades. |
Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk
Angry Birds Star Wars free from Starbucks. I guess they aren't doing the cards any more.
Here's the direct link (opens itunes and automatically loads code): http://www.starbucks.com/mobilenotif...ct?assetID=269 |

Thanks for the link chess.

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk
Yes, thanks chess. I downloaded the Starbucks app, but I'll never go within a SB's wifi radius to attach for their Rewards to show up. I guess I hope that good samaritans here will continue to post links to codes? ;)

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk
so even if you download the starbuck app, you still need to be near/inside a starbuck to get the free app of the week?

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk
i am interested in getting a tablet for my 2 year old. He is really good at some of the toddler apps on my android phone.
Should I get an Ipad or Android tablet? Doesn't Apple have the higher quality apps? Does Apple have alot of free apps? I am used to having alot of free available on the android phone How is the Ipad mini? Is it the same as the regular Ipad, just smaller screen. If we go the Ipad route, we will probably get one of the certified refurbs on the Apple store. |
Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk
For a 2 year-old, I'd suggest one of the cheaper Android tablets (Nexus 7, Kindle, Nook...etc). Spending $329+ seems like a bit much for a child who won't understand most of what they offer. The iPad Mini has the screen resolution and processor of an iPad 2, just in a smaller size.

oh, i thought it had the same "guts" that the 3rd generation iPad has. good info, i will mark that off the list. we will use the tablet too of course, but it will be mainly for him. I just want to get the tablet with the best apps |

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk
I couldn't even find the iPad version of the Starbucks app, had to download the iPhone version. I couldn't seem to find a way to make it give me Angry Birds Star Wars, though.

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk
I got the Star Wars app just through my browser and itunes. Thanks, chess!
