Iphone 4 should work fine. It's suppose to work on iPhone 3GS and up. All iPads versions, and iPod touch 3rd generation and up. So yeah, only real old devices won't work.

It also requires iOS 4.3 or later, but I guess you are up to date.

Yeah, when my apps were updating last night, I saw Tapped Out was "Cleaning," and after that it worked. Down for a day and a half for me.

Baldur's Gate Enhanced is out. I'm trying to be patient and wait for some iOS reviews, as the PC release last week was apparently quite buggy.

Lost my saved game on Tapped Out. Now when I log in, the only option I get is to create a new Springfield. From looking at the forums, it's a pretty common problem. Glad I didn't spend any money on it !

That really sucks, but the weird thing is if I go into your Springfield as a friend/neighbor, I still see your built-up town. :hscratch:

If you were using an Origin account your account should be there.

Just kill the game, from the multitasking list, and you should see the login screen again.

It seems to have linked my email address up to a different (new) account. So when I log in I get the new account with the new username. I have no way to access the game saved using the old username.

I'm wondering if someone can help me. My son played some game on the dentist's iPad that he loved and wanted me to get it. He says you "fight balloons with different things like monkeys, a witch's hat or nails". Does that ring any bells for anyone here?

Well, that was weird. Uninstalled Tapped Out, reinstalled. Still logged into wrong account. Uninstalled again and reinstalled again and it immediately went back into my old (correct) account. So I'm back up and running again ! :)

Checking the App Store, that would have to be Bloons TD4 since my son said there was a monkey on the logo. Thanks for that. It seems pricey at $4.99, but I'll get him the demo and if he wants the full game I'll get that either now or on sale. Is Bloons TD 5 better than 4?

i hadn't played tapped out in a while and got a bit of a scare.
my phone was sitting there and while watching tv, homer starts yelling at me that he's been neglected.

Both are available to play for free on PC via various flash based game sites. If you check appshopper they aren't on sale often. My kids love 4 and want me to buy 5. I'll let them pick it up themselves when they have an iTunes card after Christmas. I'm not sure what type of difference there is between each iteration. Unfortunately there aren't lite versions for both, only 4.

In the past, I'm pretty sure all the Bloons TD games go on sale for free quickly and frequently.

Per appshopper Bloons TD4 has been on sale two times, June 2011 and November 2012, each time for 5 days. I waited quite awhile before I picked it up. If you have any interest pick it up when it is on sale as it will be a long time before it happens again.

Sorry, I was looking at the ipad one (Bloons TD 5 HD) which dropped from 4.99 to 2.99. Bloons TD 5 dropped from 2.99 to .99

All the Rovio iPad games are on sale for $.99, includes all the Angry Birds obviously, but apparently Bad Piggies is a lot of fun. Anyone play Amazing Alex? I can usually get enough of an Angry Birds fix from all their free versions, but perhaps I'll throw them a few bucks today.

Time for me to pimp Ascension again. It's currently free. If you have any interest in CCGs, pick it up. Several of us here still actively play the game.

I am an idiot, so, I am correcting this to indicate that this game is a DECKBUILDER and not a CCG. The actual card game was created by 4 players of MtG and the iOS version of the game is very well designed. I was first interested in the game because I played Magic in HS.
