I may never play it for more than 20 minutes but come on, it's Dead Space for 99 cents!

I'm in!

I'm wondering if it only lets you get 1 EA game at 99 cents. I purchased 1 earlier and all the others went back up in price right after.

No I just picked up Dead Space and NBA Jam for both .99.

No, I don't think the sale has "Officially" started so the App store is having some issues. Just go back and check again in a bit and it will be back to $0.99. I had to check back a few times to get the games I wanted at the discount price.

I picked up Tiger Woods PGA 12 and NBA Jam, 99c each for brand new games is a decent deal. I agree that it was a hassle last night to buy these, search one time and its $4.99, click another it's 99c, then back to $4.99, etc. Looks like all of the prices are stable this morning from what I've seen.

Downloading free and cheap iphone games like crazy while deployed. A few recommendations:

Rhythmatic basically converts your music library into a rythm game in the vein of Rock Band though not tied to a specific instrument. Think Rock Band meets Audiosurf. It's the best game I've purchased bar-none. $2.

Mechanic Panic is sort of a Mario/Metroid wall-jumping game up an elevator shaft with cool obstacles. I got it for free, but it's only a buck, and it's totally worth it.

iFighter 1945 is free...worth picking up for shmup fans:

I think this tidbit is related enough and of interest to iPhone gamers:

Apple has snuck part of iCloud into our phones. All your past purchases, music and games, are listed in itunes or the appstore update screen, allowing you to freely re-download items "not on this iphone".

My thousand or two deleted apps all appear to be there.

Free Game: "Rip Off"

$.99 sale: "Dungeon Raid"

Both awesome.

Two games that were in my "wait list" went free today: Medieval and Traffic Trouble.

I think the only songs I bought from itunes before my computer crashed were American Idol songs, all of which appear to be gone from itunes. So they only live on my kid's old ipod.

Thanks! Got all the free ones.

Rhythmatic sounds very interesting. Might try that.

I've been enjoying 7 Little Words this week. It's kinda like if the daily crossword crossbred with the jumble. You have 7 clues and 20 letter groups to form the right answers.

You get 30 puzzles to start out with for free. Additional packs of 50 are $.99. For reference, I'm still on the first 30. Some of the words can be pretty challenging.

I bought NBA Jam for iPad while it's on sale for $4.99. I totally love it. I didn't really like the iPhone version-- too cramped, small and hard to control but this one is like arcade-perfect.

I'm not a big fan of the $4.99 to $9.99 price point for the iPad games. For NBA Jam in particular, it would be worth the extra money to get the PS3/360 version with the ability to play with 4 players. It is nice that there are so many sales on iPod/iPad games though.

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk

I already have a 360 version, but rarely crack it out to play it. I agree that that is awful pricey but in this case I thought it was worth it .

Several Gameloft iPad and iPhone games are on sale for the father's day weekend including Spiderman, Gangster Miami and that new MMO game, Order & Chaos

I've been playing the iphone version for quite a bit now and I really like it. At first it was hard to control but after a few games you really get used to it. I've gone through one campaign as the Bulls now working on one as the Magic.

Same for me. I finished with a team from each division in the West to unlock 1-shot fire and am currently working on the Magic for Early Shaq. One thing I've noticed is that, even though I've won many more games than 100, Bryant Reeves hasn't unlocked either. I plan on playing as two more teams in the East to unlock unlimited turbo and other than that, not sure what else I would bother with. I have very much enjoyed playing and have gained far more value out of the game than the $.99 I spent on it.

Anyone ever play Real Racing? It's 99 cents today, and tempting me.

The pared-down Real Racing GTI (which I believe only offers one car) is available for free, if you want to give it a...uh...test drive before downloading the full version. GTI wasn't bad, but I never grabbed the full version because I much prefer arcade racers (Pole Position Remix is my most-played racing game, if that is any indication).

On a related note, does anyone know of anything along the lines of S.F. Rush 2049 for the iPhone? I still fire up the Dreamcast just for that game.

Thanks! Looking through my apps I already have both Real Racing GTI and Pole Position Remix, and a dozen other racers, so I'll resist my buying mania.
