BTW, Tilt to Live added a new mode and weapon over the weekend. The update is $.99. You have to unlock the weapon in the new mode before it's playable in the other modes. I've yet to unlock it.

Game Dev Story is so awesome. It reminds me of the old NES games from the past. I literally spent two and a half hours playing it last night and an hour today. It's that addicting.

^^ It's an awesome game for two weeks. Once you get on a roll though, there's no stopping you... thus no reason to play. Well worth $.99 though.

My company is doing OK financially but I can't seem to get decent reviews for any of my games.

This is why I was ultimately disappointed in Game Dev Story, fun for a bit but you basically would only keep playing or replay to best a high score. ...but still, get it at $0.99 just know what you're getting...

Hmmm... I find I can get 10's across the board after leveling up certain RPG elements.

The best I did was 8's and 9's but they are usually Hall of Fame worthy. Oh and everytime there's an awards ceremony, I win both the music award and the runner up music award. Nothing else

My biggest game was a fantasy RPG called Monsters Ltd. It had six sequels, each sold higher than the last. Part seven sold 13 million copies. Then I get told I am losing fans because I make the same type of game. Kind of lame.

That's awesome. I hope Namco gets on board and the games have GameCenter integration for online friend leaderboards.

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk

If anyone logged on for a random app recommendation here it is: get Zombie Escape ($0.99). I've never been into line drawing games but this one is pretty frantic and there are lots of power-ups to keep things strategic.

...is ZombieSmash (on sale for $0.99) good enough to quell my thirst for pseudo horror cutesy zombie carnage? I've never been that big into fling style tower defense games but it is on sale...

My highest-selling game sold over 50 million copies. I'm still not sure how I managed that; I've never come close to that number again.

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch App Talk

I am kind of getting tired of it, too. But it's good for those moments when you're really bored, or taking a dump

I hated how none of my games ever won game of the year. I had the music awards locked up every year, and sometimes the best design. But never game of the year. I have even seen games (Ms. Hack Man, I am looking at you) win the worst game and then win the best game the next year.

Someone needs to make a guide. Then again, maybe it's all random.

I was able to hire the oil baron as a worker, though. That helped.
