I am looking to buy Fable I & II eventually. I have wanted to play Fable for years. I think I will have to keep an eye out for the old Buffy games as well.

Think I might be on Death's doorstep. Not sure what is going on, but I can't play games. Dashboard seems fine. I need to check video and music playback, I guess. But I can't launch a game that is installed on the hard drive, I can't play The Maw trial I downloaded, and I can't play Worms off my MU. Sign in and everything just fine. I might try a bit more, but has anyone experienced this before?

I've rebooted several times and disconnected the power supply, network, etc all to no avail.

If it keeps up, what is the best way to force an RROD?

cover the vents with towels and blow a hair dryer on it?

unplug/replug it a few times while its running

Found out it's the HD-DVD player (after many configuration changes and reboots - I'm sure Asmodeus Vice and dvdguy got sick of seeing me log in this morning :lol:)

So I'm not sure what's going on with that thing as nothing has changed with it since at least the NXE update. But, for the time being, it's removed from the system.

I received mine in a week. I faxed the form too.

I faxed mine in back in the beginning of December and then promptly received it four days later. Based on that, if you've been waiting a month, I would suspect that your fax got misplaced.

I got mine in December after five days or so. I got a second one that I didn't ask for about two weeks later. I don't think they are particularly organized there.

There is also the possibility that they might be cracking down on "on order" requests.

I think everyone should listen to this weeks Major Nelson show. He has a great interview with Stephen Toulouse, Xbox LIVE Policy Manager. He is really insightful and it's a great listen. The interview starts at 56:43 he also has a good interview with Felicia Day.
