Sir, I am offended that you would use my own avatar as a commentary of my character! HOW DARE YOU!

I do the same thing with my 2 1/2 year old son, luckily he's gentle with the instruments, or I'd have to stop doing that. We switch off playing guitar and drums, which ever one he is playing is not actually plugged in, he just has fun playing along with Daddy. Actually, I'm surprised how good he is at keeping a beat for some parts of some songs. He probably couldn't hit the right drum pads, but his timing is often dead on, I'm really impressed considering his age.

My daughter plays the microphone. She is slowly learning the lyrics to some of the songs. Actually i put up a video of her doing Sugar Magnolia by the Dead on Youtube.

miyu, I'm tempted to call DHS on you. Subjecting a poor, innocent thing to something that awful? You should be ashamed!

 She knows several Grateful Dead songs by heart. I guess that is the drawback of having hippy parents.

I taped my two daughters playing Rebel Girl. The two year old on vocals and the 4 year old on drums. My four year old was actually nailing it for a good chunk of the song. I was pretty impressed.

Please tell me they didn't censor the word 'toker' in The Joker. That would be pretty sad, but I'm half expecting it at this point...

Sounds like no toker/get high edits in either The Joker or Take the Money...

Hopefully it's not just stuff from the new album, although I'm sure at least one or two of the cuts will be.

I'm not going to get around to linking videos this week, as the post-generating program is currently in shambles.

Check out Npeaen & Jarr3tt88 on youtube for guitar and drum charts, respectively.

Thanks, Shag. The Joker on guitar looks kind of weird. I think it actually benefits from the GHWT slider-notes thingy, and might be the only one so far that I prefer on that platform. Also, they chose a very awkward cut-off point to the song. That said, having the tune on my preferred platform goes a long way, but for folks who were worried that it would be as "boring" as the GHWT chart, this one's probably not for you.

I read your comment both ways, so I'm not sure which you meant, but I think what the "new album" you're referring to is just a "live album" and the tracks you know will be familiar songs.

However maybe you knew that and you're hoping they aren't live versions, but rather the original studio recordings of the songs. This seems less likely to me.

I actually just read "new Thin Lizzy" and while not a fan by any stretch, I know that most people would prefer the classic stuff.

I only hope that it's those so that there's less bitching when they do come around. :) I'll give the new or old stuff a few listens before I make my final buying decision.

Yeah, but it says "new live" so it will be classic stuff, just live versions. I doubt there will be any "new" songs.

Maybe we're saying the same thing. I can't really tell ;)

People bitch about re-recordings. People bitch about live recordings. If it's the original recordings, there probably wouldn't be as much of a backlash, other than the "Who the fuck is Thin Lizzy?" posts.

So just to go back to my earlier comment on The Joker, I really enjoy this chart on RB. It plays a lot more fun than it looks. Actually, the whole pack is very fun on guitar. How TtMaR got rated 3 difficulty spots lower than Rock'n Me, I'll never know, though. That one's going to take me a while to play well. Bring on Steve Miller 02!

Oh, and bring on Thin Lizzy, too.

Didn't Thin Lizzy die with singer/bassist Phil Lynott?

Good to hear. I already queued up Godsmack, Rob Zombie & Mute Math online earlier.* I'm still hesitant on Space Cowboy since I'm unfamiliar with that tune.

*hear that Shagrath? I queued them up while I'm at work today and...gasp...I may not even play them tonight! ;)

Savage....

I got up early to check out the Belly track, and while on the easy side, it was definitely fun. I need to check out a few of the other tracks online today, but I'll probably end up getting the Zombie and the Mute Math tracks at least.

As long as you play them this week, I'm cool with it. :)

I know how your gaming backlog is (and mine is just as bad), so I guess I can look past our differences.

That is awesome! Of course i will buy the whole pack but i am most excited for Uncle John's Band and Fire on the Mountain.

I was kind of hoping Saint Stephen or Broken Down Palace would make it as DLC soon.

edit: I lied, screw Fire on the Mountain as my fav - Cold Rain and Snow is an awesome cut now that i heard it. I had forgotten the title.
