Confused about 360 region coding on games.
I have an Australian PAL 360.
I'm in the UK at the moment and will be flying back to Australia via Singapore soon.
Looking at playasia.com and other sources, i can only see NTSC-Japan, NTSC-US and PAL-Europe as catergories for region coding on 360 games. My questions are:
1) If i buy a 360 game from the UK will it work on my Australian console. I haven't seen Australia listed as another region seperate to the UK anywhere, and they are both PAL, but some yahoo answers page i saw with the same question said it won't work but didn't elaborate.
2) If i find out from Playasia.com what games don't have region coding on them (Saints Row 2 NTSC-Asia) and i buy that from Singapore, will that work on a PAL console like mine? My TV is capable of dealing with NTSC and PAL, and my console is connected via component cables if that makes a difference.
I just wanna pay a fir price for my games instead of almost double the price if I buy it in Australia, even if i buy them with a staff discount since we sell games at work.

1) PAL games work on PAL consoles, so buying a game from the UK (or Germany, Sweden, Spain etc.) will work just like an Austrailian bought game.
I myself have bought PAL-games from a bunch of countries, including Australia, and have never had any problems playing them on my EU PAL-360 (or heard of anyone who has).
2) Assuming that the version sold in Singapore is the same product as listed being region free on Play-Asia, then yes it would work.
Though make sure that's the case, perhaps by checking if you can get a UPC-code or other details from play-asias website.
But if you wan't to be 100% sure I'd recommend that you buy your NTSC-imports from retailers who test region coding themselves, like play-asia or video games plus.

Thanks for the reply. it seems like Pure and Saints Row 2 are Region free across the board, so i'll see about picking them up in Singapore duty free, otherwise i'll order from playasia. Some other region locked games i'll have to source another way. Thankfully the Australian dollar has gone to hell against the British pound, and most of my funds are in pounds right now.
