What extras can you do on PS3/360, and how?
I was just checking out the Hulu thread, and I remember in another thread where someone listed all of the things you can do on a PS3. How do you watch stuff from your PC on your PS3 or 360? I have both systems, and I have XP Media Center on my PC. I've looked at pics from my PC on my 360/TV, but that's all I've ever done and know how to do.
What all can you do with your next-gen systems other than play games & watch HD/Blu movies...and how do you do it?
Thanks,
~S2K

I use TVersity on my PC (which is on the same wired network as the 360) to allow my 360 to access and play pictures, MP3s, and videos (mpgs mostly) stored on the computer.
TVsersity is free and requires no additional hardwareand the biggest hassle was just waiting for it to create a database containing all the content I wanted to share.
By downloading an optional free update you can also plug an ipod directly into the 360 and play it; I think the TVersity method is a little better in that it lets you use the 360 to navigate the tracks and see the artist/title names.

I'm looking forward to that. I have a free month from the settlement, I'm waiting till the NF/360 thing gets going to start up.
Do you have to be a Gold member to use that functionality (watching NF stuff thru the Xbox). I don't care about the "shared viewing" stuff.

Now that the weather is getting cold again I like to curl up around my 360 under the blankets at night. For some reason the wife does not approve.

They both do pretty much the same thing. The 360 will have the edge in a month or so when Netflix support is added, IMO.
