Already announced, but here are the detail for Dishwasher Samurai, which will be available this Wednesday (and it better not be an April Fool's joke!):
Channel your inner Samurai.
As an undead samurai dishwasher, get lost in the psychotic,
stylistic 2-D action and kick start your warrior quest for revenge.
Choose from ancient blades or screen-obliterating “Dish Magic”
to fight off an evil cyborg army that has the universe drowning in misery.
Developed solely by 2007 Dream.Build.Play contest winner James Silva /
Ska Studios, The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai boasts a unique story
revealed through graphic novel style cut scenes and visceral gameplay.
James developed every element of the game, from the art, to the music,
to the unique story, making Xbox LIVE Arcade the premier destination for
original independent content. Log onto Xbox LIVE on Saturday, April 4,
from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. PST for your chance to play the game with James himself!
Features:
* Fresh take on gameplay: Gameplay in The Dishwasher
is a fresh take on popular stylistic action combat, taking combo- and
timing-intensive combat into a 2-D, blood-soaked environment emphasizing
speed, vertical movement, and maneuverability, and player-driven pacing
to create a truly unique, fluid and visceral experience, with an appealingly
psychotic art style.
* New game modes with guitar peripheral: The
Dishwasher has arcade co-op, drop-in solo campaign co-op, and drop-in
solo phantom guitar co-op using the guitar peripheral. Phantom guitar
players can unload electric death by playing wicked solos, perform basic
movement, and use the guitar's motion control to rip through enemies
with a razor-sharp headstock.
* The power of XNA: The Dishwasher is a testament
to the power of XNA. The game was created by one guy with no professional
game development experience (and a self-described lousy programmer)
in about a year and a half.
“The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai” is a
part of the Days of Arcade program on Xbox LIVE Arcade, which features seven
of this season’s hottest pick-up-and-play games.
The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai, rated M for Mature,
will be available for 800 Microsoft Points worldwide (excluding Germany
and Korea) on Wednesday, April 1, 2009.

It's only a $5 discount. If you want a gold account anyway and are using this as extra justification, that's fine. But don't think it's a bigger deal than it is.

I gotta agree. I wasn't expecting much but the whole thing was pretty true.
"If someone's beating your ass in Halo they are either cheating...or gay."
I liked the bleeped out "sexual" description as well. The words they let thru really make you wonder what the fuck he was saying. Rita Moreno??? Did I hear that right?

I just wanted this game, and have 400 points, and was gonna go back to gold just was gonna wait a week or so but I might as well go back to gold now so I can get it. If I was never gonna go back to gold I wouldn't care it just was gonna be a short window of being on silver.

When it comes to XBLA games, $5 might as well be $5,000 to some folks.

50 head chomps in a row. Seriously? I see Pixy and Shag, at least, have this from the MGC group. Is it as tedious as it seems?
Anybody got any advice for beating the final boss w/o continues? I can't even do it on easy. That first form just decimates me. The other 2 are a breeze.

As for the last boss, I don't remember much of that either. Most of the bosses have a pretty set pattern, so if you can figure that out, you should be gold.
