Deus Ex and Batman, pretty damn good!

Pretty jacked up of them to have the Batman game in the current flash sale and then put it for free a couple days later.

Phew! I've been waffling over Deus Ex for a while now, putting off buying it due to backlog, but came close on a recent sale. I'm glad I held off.

Also Starblood Arena (PS VR) will be free from 1/2 through 3/6. Nice to see them giving out some free VR games.

At this point I don't think I would ever buy a Telltale game. Between PS+ and GwG, it's just a matter of time before they are free.

I didn't notice, was it the first or second Batman Telltale Game that was part of the sale. It's the first one that is free next month.

It was both for like $16.

While that's a good deal in its own right, Sony promised that it wouldn't do exactly that (give away a free game that they had just put on sale very recently), so that's a little bit shitty.

I've been avoiding Bloodborne for years due to my fear of difficult games and my general suckiness as a video game player. That said, the Deluxe edition for $14 is pretty damned tempting...

I'm terrible at the Souls games (usually can't make it more than half an hour in) and thought Bloodborne was great. It's challenging in the Ninja Gaiden way more than the Dark Souls one. And it's actually fun.

Alright you convinced me.

Bloodborne is awesome. I'm terrible at it, but it's awesome.

Same. Life is too short.

Started a couple games this weekend:

Unravel: Pretty fun little game. Gorgeous and has a wonderful soundtrack. This is the kind of design I'd love to see with Pikmin. I'm only about halfway through it but it seems well worth the $4 sale price.

Type: Rider: I think this was a PS+ freebie, as I don't recall buying it. Decent little title right up until the last level(fuck that annoying P.O.S.). It's only a few hours long.

I'd re-buy BloodBorne for that $14, just to not have to worry about putting in a disc, not to mention, I never got to the DLC. One of the best games ever made.

I would recommend it just for the experience and seeing it....it can be fun as much as frustrating. Probably the single "Most Liked and Most Hated" game I've had. The solo play had me on the edge all the time not knowing what was around the corner...The Challice Dungeons...oh my...and a blast with 2-3 people. We hated the "Invaders" though as all we wanted to do was venture and explore without someone popping in and ruining the day. It's a sight to behold though.....

I also picked up Bloodborne for $14. Figured with the DLC it would be worth trying out.

Looks like Week 4 is up.

For my new VR headset, it looks like they added Batman Arkham VR along with Eagle Flight as two VR games that I was waiting to see if they would add to this sale.

Finally picked up The Witness. Been waiting for that one to go on sale for a while.

Don't know if you have a preference between disc or digital, but I was able to pick up Batman VR recently for $10 at a local WalMart. Use Brickseek to check out local pricing.

Batman VR sku = 54000918

And Eagle Flight is on clearance at Target for 70% off if you can find a copy locally.

Even though I have the disc version I might bite on the Digital just to get that DLC...The Old Hunters which I've heard is a challenge....but it's normally priced at $15 alone but on sale for $11 so it's a no-brainier to get The Complete Edition.

I picked up Counterspy in this sale. It got fairly middling reviews, but for less than $7 I'll take a flyer on a short game with a cool premise and nice-looking aesthetic.

Is the basic version of Horizon no longer available to download via PSN? Looks like they only have the complete edition now.

That's right, they took it down soon after they had it on sale on Black Friday.
