PS Plus: Free Games for February 2017

<iframe width="853" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/RyZY8RvyMes" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Your PlayStation Plus games for the month arrive on February 7! This month we have the incredibly creative LittleBigPlanet 3 and the fast-paced action game Not a Hero from Roll 7 (OlliOlli).

LittleBigPlanet 3 is available for all PS Plus members this month. This is one of the most imaginative games on PlayStation, full of platforming adventure and excitement. After you’ve explored the Imagisphere, flex your creative muscle and bring your own imagination to life or play one of the millions of original creations from the LBP Community.

We are also offering Not a Hero, because sometimes you just want to blast the criminal underworld to bits. Play as Steve, a professional assassin turned amateur campaign manager as he cleans for his boss, an anthropomorphic rabbit and mayoral candidate from the future named BunnyLord. Run, jump, shoot, and cut your way through this white-knuckle campaign.
Full lineup:

LittleBigPlanet 3 // PS4
Not a Hero // PS4
Starwhal // PS3, cross buy with PS4
Anna — Extended Edition // PS3
Ninja Senki DX // PS Vita, cross buy with PS4
TorqueL // PS Vita, cross buy with PS4

A ton of gaming fun for such a short month. Enjoy!

Of course LBP3 is free, because I just bought the physical copy a few months ago with the plush toy (and haven't even opened it yet)

It's a strange game ... by all accounts it SHOULD be fun. It's certainly cute enough. We just couldn't get into it. Maybe now is the time to try it again.

Grabbed MvC3 yesterday. It's still a great fighting game.

Same as Blow, I couldn't get into LB1 or LB2. I like the concept, it's cute, but didn't interest me for long.

A few there not bad...I finished Shadow of Mordor a few weeks ago and at $8.00 that's good. Sniper Elite III might be worth a go since the newest one scored some decent reviews.

I enjoyed it. Its got some frustrating parts where floating around in space it's easy to get turned around and not be able to tell where you're going and then run out of air but the good outweighed the bad.

Picked up The Last Acre and The BIT TRIP.

Does anyone know if it supports 3D? I seem to remember the PS3 version doing so, but didn't know if this one does or not.

Shovel Knight is 33% off right now. Since it's coming with a shit load of free content updates soon (and the price is going to go up as well), I picked it up. Will also give me something to play on the Vita when we leave for vacation in a few weeks.

Grabbed Rez: Infinite over the weekend (on sale for $21). Gorgeous as ever. I'm rusty though, I couldn't even make it through the second boss. The timing seemed off to me. I used to breeze through the game.

If anyone prefers the physical version, quite a few Walmart's has it on clearance for $7. Check Brickseek beforehand to see the price of whatever version you are looking for and possible stock amounts. I found a Wii U version for that price a couple of weeks ago and according to Brickseek the are some 3DS versions available in my are also.

And don't go by the shelf price as it had a $15 shelf price but rang up $7. There are quite a few games on various platforms on clearance at Walmart right now. There is a Walmart thread over at CAG discussing the various ones.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

Worth noting that shovel knight digital on PSN is cross buy, meaning one purchase enables PS3, PS4 and Vita.

Yep, that's why I went for the digital version over physical.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

So are there usually lots of rumors for PS+ games for the following month?

I've seen Tearaway Unfolded and Disc Jam based on a French? PS+ voucher, to big games like Battlefield Hardline and Uncharted 4...

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

There is absolutely no way they would be giving Uncharted 4 away since it hasn't even been out a full year yet. Tearaway Unfolded or Battlefield Hardline could be contenders though, especially since all of the BF Hardline DLC packs have been free at different weeks throughout last year.

You can also check out the Disc Jam beta, you just have to request a code from their site.

Well, this is a steal if you haven't played any of them:

PlayStation Store has Mass Effect Trilogy (PS3 Digital Download) on sale for $4.49.
