I decided to go for it on PS3. I don't think I've bought a game over $5 since BF4 last year so a few bucks tonight is okay by me.

Aaaaand the guys I usually play with aren't going for Premium. Surprised and bummed, 'cause I already made my purchase tonight.

I'm actually kind of glad I don't have enough PSN credit to do the BF combo. If they ever release an "ultimate edition", I'll probably pick that up though.

nice sale, almost got Persona 3 a couple weeks ago, glad I waited. and I had no idea Robotech was available on PSN, I was just looking for it last week on hulu, and canistream.it said it wasn't available anywhere to stream.

well that sale turns out to be a bust. I figured Persona 3 was playable on Vita... its not. and i assumed the Robotech sale was per season, not episode.

I played some Hohokum yesterday. It's weird but kinda cool and quite beautiful. It's kind of like Flower meets Loco Roco. Very cute, colorful and it's not really clear what you're supposed to be doing. You just wander around, interacting with things in your large 2D level and seeing what happens. There are "puzzles" to be solved, but no clear indications of what they are or what you're supposed to do next.
It's fun to just mess around with things. The soundtrack is pretty amazing and interactive, which is cool. Touching your touch pad causes the snake-like avatar to twang and vibrate like a guitar string, and music comes through the DS4 controller.
Also, I think this is a first, the game automatically and continuously saves to the Cloud when connected to PSN to allow seamless Cross-Play.

I don't have that one. The Swapper still requires you to manually upload your saves to the cloud for Cross-Play.

Why the heck did I buy Jojo when it came out?
And this may be the only way I buy that Fist of the North Star game.
Do people really buy a lot of tv shows and movies on the PSN network?

Fired up "Remember Me" which I got free via PS Plus earlier this year. I have no clue what that game failed so bad. The production values are just outstanding. Like Enslaved it does a great job of ripping off great games. I'd definitely recommend it.

Well didn't Enslaved fail pretty badly too?

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Remember Me looked interesting to me as well. I just have the hardest time convincing myself to boot up my PS3. I need to hook up one of my DS4s to my PS3 and give a few games a try, particularly Remember Me, Metro Last Light, and DMC. I also need to finish Bioshock Infinite, Puppeteer and Binary Domain.
On the PS4 front, I am absolutely loving Fez. I'm not sure that I have any idea what's going on or where to go on the map, but it's a great pick up and play game. I just jump in and find some cubes, and it always manages to surprise me with something clever.

New IPs (well, at least those not made by Bungie) are a crapshoot at best. No wonder we see so many sequels and reboots instead.

I played through that earlier this year. It is a very pretty game. Combat is kind of half-assed Batman-esque. The story is pure garbage. But again, pretty.

I did pick-up Hotline Miami last night for $7.99. I know I'm a couple of years late to that party but that game is a blast. Plus, its cross-buy.

Finally finished Stick It To The Man last night.
I'm not usually one for that type of adventure game, but it's pretty damn cool and it has some interesting platform elements later in the game.
