Guitar or Drums?
The GH4 or RB2 thread got me thinking?
It seems to me that everyone is waiting to see how GH4's drum set plays out?...
I don't have RB1!!!!
So here is the ?......
Which is Better? Playing Guitar.....or ...playin' DRUMS!!!!
Singers need not apply......sorry.
Laters....

This is probably on par with a religious debate, but since starting on drums in Rock Band, I find it tough to go back to guitar. I did play through the Hard guitar tour in RB, and it was certainly fun, but I have a much more enjoyable experience on the drums. I guess a big part of it is that fake drumming is much closer to real drumming when you compare it to fake guitar/real guitar. I can take the skills learned in RB and apply it to real-world drumming, but I doubt I'd ever have the ability to play a real guitar and be any good at it.

Both are incredibly fun and will keep you entertained for many hours.
Most people will probably say drums, since a lot of us have been playing the guitar side of things for years (since GH1).
I enjoy drums now more than I do playing guitar, even though I'm not the best at them.

This should be a poll.
I enjoy both but find myself reaching for a guitar A LOT more often than the drum kit.

Guitar. I have no rhythm so button mashing the frets on the guitar is a whole lot easier than trying to keep a beat on the drums. Plus my brain still hasn't been able to wrap itself around the foot pedal.

I enjoy both. The drums are a lot of fun. I don't play them as much as the guitar though. They are kind of loud and I have a roommate who is easily annoyed by sound. So I mostly play them when she's not around. I also have to set them up when I want to play. Otherwise, I'd play them a lot more. I also think I'm better at the guitar. It's wireless and easier to just pick up and play real quick, so I end up playing it more often. I also got a little burned on drums trying to beat Fall Out Boy on expert about 100 times. I will beat it someday though, dammit!

I like both but prefer Guitar...I just have more fun rocking out that way. Drums is great too but I'm only on 'Hard' and sometimes suck at it - but Guitar I can hang at expert.

Neither...bass all the way!!! Just kidding, bass is boring. Hopefully GH4/RB2 will fix that.
Personally, I enjoy guitar more, but only because I'm *much* better at it. I don't have RB at my disposal, so I haven't had the opportunity to get good at drums, but anytime I've tried to play drums at a friend's place, I suck the whole group down...hard.

I played guitar for 20 years so I lean to the guitar 80% of the time. I always wanted to play the drums, but for some reason I just can't get into it as much as I would like. I actually enjoy singing even though I never really sang before, but I'll only sing when the wife isn't home, so it isn't too often. I think I'd be into the drumming if I would play it more, but I get a little frustrated not being able to tear it up like I do on the axe.

The mic is my instrument of choice for having fun. The drums though are a decent second choice but i find them to be really tough. The guitar i have never cared for.

Drums, though I never did beat Reaper on expert. I was on board with Guitar Hero when it launched back in '05, after 2 years of that (and lots of it) the Drums were a wonderful upgrade.
