From the official PS blog:
I haven't seen this hit their RSS feed yet, so hurry!

So, for anyone else who applied with this method, don't lose hope yet. Seems like the emails are just being sent out very slowly in some cases.

I got the beta code last night and tried it out for a few hours. Here's some initial impressions.
The graphics are astounding. This game really pops in HD. I don't think I've seen anything like it before. It takes next-gen visuals to a new level.
Customization is deep. People that like building their own levels and making their own designs are going to be playing with this for years. I'm not one of those people. But I can see how addictive this will become for others.
Gameplay is unimpressive. I've gone through the first couple levels. I can't compare it to standard platformers like Mario or R&C. In terms of platforming gameplay, it really came across more like a $10 downloadable game. Maybe it'll get better in later levels or user designed levels. But so far I'm not impressed.
Controls were a little annoying. I had some trouble moving accurately between the foreground and background. I'd want to push something or jump somewhere, and I wouldn't be in the correct place. Maybe that's just me and my giant thumbs.
Will I buy the game? Maybe. I wasn't sold on it before. And after trying out the demo (sorry "beta"), I'm still not totally sold on it. I think this game is going to live or die on the user designed stuff. So I may wait and see how big the LBP community grows.

Hilarious
BTW, still no code for me either. Still hoping one comes soon.

How do the controls feel? As in, is it floaty and slippery - in videos it looks really floaty, which I don't like in my platformers.

The controller issues I encountered aren't a gamebreaker. It's more like, just something I'll have to get use to as the game goes on. Hopefully, when I learn the right touch, it'll be ok.

Sackboy's a little floaty with jumps, but overall it feels pretty accurate. I must admit, I'm in love with the little guy. This game is a total winner so far.

Still no code for me. What gives? I guess I'll have to live vicariously through the rest of you guys.

So I got another LittleBigPlanet beta code (to the same email address). Last night's was from Playstation Underground (which is the official Playstation site), today's was from Playstation Blog. When I got it last night I just assumed the Underground one was for the email I sent in response to the blog post, because I can't remember applying for anything else. Now I don't know what's what.
Anyway ... do you still need a code, Michael Corvin? You haven't answered my PM.

If anyone has an extra code I would be very grateful.

As much as I've read and seen about this game, to actually be doing it -- to actually be playing other people's levels and really enjoying (some of) the challenges created in them...well, it's pretty incredible.
Which levels to people here like? I was fond of Grand Theft Auto : LittleBigCity and The Heist, Part 1. If anyone makes a level, post the info here, please.

Where is everyone pre-ordering from? I'm leaning toward GameCrazy because it's actually a real world item, but there really aren't any convenient around here.
The SackBoy/Girl costumes are okay, but I'm much more interested in designing my own SackPeople and using them.
Amazon has the $10 GC, but the level creator guide sounds lame.
Sticker book?

I still haven't heard back from DJ after two PMs and messages in this thread. I'd hate to do it, but to be fair if I don't hear back from him soon I'll likely send it to the next person in line to let someone get the most play as possible out of the beta.

Don't sweat it man I'm having no luck either.
