Quotes are ripped from the Bible and taken out of context all of the time. If we could all complain and change things everytime something like this happens then that in itself destroys the foundation on which our country is built. Why must we run to the defenses of certain religions when Christianity is questioned all of the time? And I didn't see anything there that is really negative.

Good thing the complaining fucktard got his copy early, to ruin it for the rest of us. Couldn't wait until release to get your copy, oh no... had to find it somewhere early and turn into Mr. Complainypants.

I'm going to make a local run and see if I can score a few copies. If I can, I'll let you guys know.

In fact, I was commenting on the inclusion of AC/DC's Let There Be Rock in Rock Band 2.To be fair, the complainer seems to have good intentions of preventing the lyrics from spreading and having a jihad called on Sony and MM.

None of my local stores put it out early, but this eBay seller came through for me. He only lives an hour away and he's shipping out the game today. I should have it by Monday, praise Allah.

Maybe if Sony called out Al Qaeda we might actually get somewhere with this war on terrorism. We can set them down in front of Sony hardware and brain melt them. They come with guns and leave with Sony products.

Just walked down to the Game Stop next to where I work. They didn't know about a delay here, but they didn't know anything about this. They have the games in the back room, but can't sell them until the release day. Everyone who works there said they were gonna go ahead and grab their copies before they have to send em back.

There is always some asshat willing to criticize every little thing that is said or done and then stir the pot about it. The fact that this person got a copy of the game early and then shafted the rest of us pisses me off. Besides, how much do you want to bet that this guy is still playing this game knowing that the rest of us have to wait that much longer to get a copy?

Not to get all "religulous", but if this same exact thing were to happen concerning a different religion (any other religion, really), there would be absolutely no problem or delay or anything. So you gotta ask yourself, why we must walk on eggshells with all things concerning Islam?

LittleBigPlanet Delayed
Sackboy pushed back.
by Martin Robinson, IGN UK
UK, October 17, 2008 - The release of LittleBigPlanet, one of the most anticipated games to hit the PlayStation 3 this year, has been delayed globally and will now no longer hit shelves on October 24.
Though no official reason has been given for the delay it's been widely speculated that one of the in-game songs quoted heavily from the Qur'an, and could have potentially upset Muslim players. Sony has yet to confirm a new release date, though it's expected to be not much later than the initial date of October 24, with a November 14 release looking likely.
We currently await confirmation and a statement from Sony, and will report back when it arrives.
UPDATE: Sony has confirmed the reasons for the delay, and that it is going to affect all regions, though it has yet to commit to a new release date - the full statement follows.
During the review process prior to the release of LittleBigPlanet, it has been brought to our attention that one of the background music tracks licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur'an. We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologise for any offence that this may have caused.
We will confirm the new launch date shortly.
