To you and me because we've had two years with the system. For someone just picking it up there is a library of games waiting to be played that will take months to get through.

I'd say a couple dozen games is enough to keep anyone busy for quite some time. The current horizon looks pretty good. Wii Sports Resort, Animal Crossing, Mad World, Rygar and Pikmin 3 are a few on the way.

I agree, but again it depends on the type of games the person buying would want to play. I'm only hesitant because I recently tried to talk a friend out of buying a Wii, but they got caught up in the hype and got one anyway. They played it to death for two months catching up on some of the stuff you listed and since then it has sat untouched for the last 4-5 months. He plans on putting it on eBay and has already moved on to a 360 that he should have bought in the first place.

I think the Wii is a great second console, but it is a poor choice for the main console for anyone that is more of a core gamer.
