Wait, if the other cases were not on the disc, why was the download marked as only 108k...meaning it was on disc and just a key (at least for the ones that are released) I haven't turned on the xbox since buying the pack yesterday to see what's really downloaded though.

Plus there are plenty of people underwhelmed enough by what the game was that splitting it like that may have hurt more than helped. Though... at least all the disappoint became more apparent after homicide ;)

Probably because the Rockstar Pass is on the disc and it acts as a storefront where all the DLC will be free. That is my guess and it would explain the small file size for this download.

I haven't tried to download anything yet. What miyu is saying is that the 108k key is just for the "store" that's on the disc. Once you're in the store, you'll get other content. Are you saying the additional content that was "cut for 360 space issues" is also 108k?

Alright, it works like I thought.

You buy the Rockstar Pass (108k in size). Go into the game and hit the marketplace button in the menu. It shows the Pass as being owned and then lists all that other DLC. From there you choose what to download. Everything shows up as free. I'm snagging one of the cases now and it is a 421 meg download.

Sorry I was busy this morning, but I downloaded The Naked City when I got the game and it was around 800 MB or something like that.

Because all this dicking around with some DLC over here and some over there and some you get from this console and some you get from this retailer... fuck that. Everything that's coming out was part of the game at some point, not levels created after the fact. I would have preferred to have the complete experience.

Exactly. I don't understand how splitting this into two retail releases is better than paying $10 for a bunch of extra cases that are unrelated to the overarching story, if you want additional content.

Well, had this feature launched at... uh, launch... I wouldn't have a thing to complain about. But since I've beaten and sold the game off before given the opportunity to purchase a pass to play deleted scenes, my complaint stands.
