It looks pretty bad to me. I don't get the point of a handheld version when so much of the series' appeal is based around holding something that at least resembles a real guitar.

I also loved that out of all the songs, they apparently chose All Star. And the fact the DS need charging was a nice touch. That's pretty rock 'n roll.

I had no intention of purchasing this. After watching that video, I'm tempted to burn everything I've got that Vicarious Visions ever produced.

The thing is, DS + Guitar Hero = smash hit, no matter how bad the actual game may be.

I have no doubt that the game will be exactly what it tries to be—the guitar hero experience on a portable system. The only problems (besides the marketing videos) are that you'll look like an idiot playing it, and they've carried over the annoying "attacks" for multiplayer. Tactile feedback on the strumming will probably be a negative, but that's true of the controls for a lot of DS and Wii games.

That trailer is the epitome of lame. I thought this might be pretty cool. Looks like a bucket of suck.

Just hope those songs are DLC for the 360.

There's no way I'd ever play that in public, so I might as well just stick to regular Guitar Hero. Doesn't seem entirely ergonomic either.
