XBLM Deal of the Week for 10/5/09: Prince of Persia Epilogue, 560 (30% off), 616MB

Does anyone know about how long the extra content is or if it's worth it for that price?

There's an achievement for beating the full game in less than eight hours (or something close to that).. but that doesn't mean you're going to do it on your first time through.

Right. I would consider that achievement to indicate a rough minimum time to completion. One could reasonably expect it to be longer than that on first/casual play.

Finished this last night. While the graphics and music are great there are too many faults with the game to give it a high mark.

The game is way too easy. I was okay with Eleka saving me. That was a neat concept. What pissed me off was the uber easy boss fights. Majority of them only lasted less than a minute which is sad considering that's how long the regular bad guys take to be killed.

The controls are frustrating. Even at the end of the game i kept jumping in the wrong direction or the button wasn't pressed hard enough. And the quick button mashing was the worse.

The one thing i was most impressed with was the music score. I always felt relaxed when a slow moving piece started playing. Was there a cd soundtrack released?

And the final 'boss battle' was pretty intense.

I still haven't finished this. It just seems like I'm going in circles even with her little "guide" cloud.

Same ole shit over and over...same cheap ass obstacles...same fights with the same creatures.

Im in the middle of this game and Im really pissed because there is 1 level in each of the four areas where I am missing 2 light seeds! Ive searched high and low, even followed a FAQ on a certain level (where he listed them all and I counted only 43 yet the game says theres 45!!!) Did anyone else have this problem? Its really frusturating as the game seems flawed.

I got every light seed without a guide, I don't think there's any bugs concerning the seeds.

Speaking of, I really need to play the DLC to this.

Yeah, no guide or issues finding them here either. There must be a ledge or path you are just missing.

Check Youtube. There are some light seed walkthroughs on there that help a LOT. I had to look there when there was one that I just couldn't find for the life of me...

Good suggestion. I used it to find the orbs in the 3 levels I needed. I beat the came tonight and it was a fun experience. I look forward to playing it again a few times to have Jade and Altair and the original prince with Farrah. Cool skins!

In a bit of Awesomeness, I got ALL the trophies except the "take a moment to think" and "Find all combos" I did get the beat the game in under 12 hours and have Elicka save me less than a 100 times!!! I was shocked to get those without trying.

I'm not sure about the PS3 version, but I know he 360 had a bug where you automatically got the saved less than 100 times achievement if you finished (it was only after a certain update) I was happy and surprised to get that award, only to check on GameFaqs and find out about the bug.

I remember "Take a Moment to Think" is pretty easy to get. I don't remember if you have to be in a certain spot or not...

Well than Im happy for that bug if its in the PS3!

That take a moment was missed for me cause according to a FAQ I looked at, you cant touch the controller at all and I did move the camera for a bit.
