Seriously though, I agree. If someone popped into a thread with a total irrelevant non sequitur (sp?), that post might not last too long; why is that different with random game pics? It's one thing if someone posts something and the pic can't be seen by certain users due to proxy or bandwidth or blocked sites, but it would be nice if they--and everyone else-knew what the picture was supposed to mean or refer to.
I'd even expand the original request to suggest that if you are posting a time limited deal (like the Amazon Deal of the Day threads), put the relevant date in the title.
