I noticed it the other day, that on the 360 version all of the SVR 09 wrestlers look like they have a shine on their bodies. So I would say it must be a universal issue/problem

Re: THQ to release WWE -Legends of Wrestlemania in 2009

I received my PS3 copy from Amazon today. And I like it. A lot more than I thought I did. Having to hit certain points and moves in the relive takes it up a notch over just a random match. Importing SvR was very easy. My CAW imported also. Though the moves, entrance, etc did not. Everything was changed to generic. I don't think i'm going to get rid of SvR anytime soon, but this is a good alternative, until the two titles make a baby

At first I wasn't sure how I felt about the game. Mainly the controls were what was bothering me the most. But after spending 4 hours playing Relive mode last night, I think the game is finially growing on me. I had alot of fun going through the WrestleMania matches, although to get 100% Objectives you almost feel like you're playing booker rather then a video game. For example, letting the computer get to level 3 so they can attempt their finisher, which you have to break out of. Without going for the Objectives the 1st time, I beat Andre at WM 3 in 30 seconds.

The Hogan/Slaughter and Austin/Hart matches were both fun, although I had to replay the latter a bunch of times to make sure I got everything.

I love the little touches, like Hogan giving Warrior the belt after the match.

I don't see myself revisiting this once I finish all the WrestleMania modes and get all 1000 Achivement points. Doesn't look that difficult.

I'm late to this, but I just played the demo, and I really really hate the quick time aspects of the matches. That instantly took me out of the game. Granted, I've always hated these things.

They seem to be more prevalent in the demo than in the actual game itself, or so it seemed this weekend when I was playing through Relive mode...

Just sold mine on eBay. At first I was having fun with it. However, over the weekend, me and a friend played Smackdown and put on a clinic with each other, with tons of great moves and reversals. Then I went back to play LOW and it felt too simple and slow. I tried

Yeah, I really can't fathom spending 60 bucks on this so I'll just wait till it hits 20 or something to pick it up.

Re: THQ to release WWE -Legends of Wrestlemania in 2009

I haven't come this close to smashing the shit out of my controller in years. I just got the game yesterday and I cannot win a match for the life of me. I'm sure some of that is not being used to the control system, but Jesus Christ, is it really that difficult to kick out of a pin attempt? Surely I must not be doing something correct. I lost the first 9 matches before I got fed up and shut down my ps3, including one by a roll-up about 12 seconds into the match.

It really seems like, for such a simple game and control scheme on the surface, they ended up making things far more complex than they needed to. I hate how you can only run backwards off the ropes to start, how you can't run when outside the ring at all (apparently), and the quick time event chain system is beyond lame for a 2009 game.

Re: THQ to release WWE -Legends of Wrestlemania in 2009

So I rented the game and made a shitload of "legends." Including myself, I also made:

Randy "The Ram" Robinson (pretty damn uncanny resemblance)
The Dude and Walter Sobchak
Anton Chigurh
Dr. Manhattan

Will try to make more, might get some pics too.

gonna pick this up tomorrow.. my brother in law got it on wedsday and we had a blast playing it.. we both had a hard time getting out of a pin.. took us a while to finally get the hang of getting out.. but for a while we knew the first pin won the match.. love the roster, can't wait to make my own guys.

Do you have your stats for Randy The Ram? I tried making him without much luck.

Vader, Doink and the Bushwackers are in a roster download for the SvR 09 game. Does anyone know if they can be transferred to the Legends game?

Is it really necessary to bump two different threads to ask the same question?

Giant Bomb has another great video at WrestleMania XXV showing some of the wrestlers in a tournament playing the Legends game. Jeff interviews Roddy Piper which is pretty funny. There's a few more "legends" there too.

Finally got this game for $15 at Target and man, it is fucking ridiculous. The roster is great but the control schemes are worse than ever. Could the idiots at THQ go back to the simple controls No Mercy had? Such a wasted potential with this game.

Can wrestlers from the LOW be imported to SVR09? or any later version?

No.

The "import" feature in Legends was more than a bit misleading. The game didn't really import anything, all of the SvR 09 wrestlers that could be imported were already on the Legends disc. All you needed on your PS3/360 was a save file from 09 to unlock them.
