There was a listing on wwe.com in their preview for 24/7 programming next month that advertised a feature on the game, with DiBiase introducing classic matches featuring those wrestlers as a part of the whole "relive, rewrite, redefine" challenge. After the news got out, they changed it so none of the names were listed.

I was really excited to see the WrestleMania IX location in there. While it's considered one of the weaker events, the whole arena was pretty unique, and I was there live, so its great to see it in the game in all its glory.

Also was great to see the ring carts did make the cut. I hope they have all three arenas for WM 2.

Also, after just watching the trailer, I think we can pretty much confirm that Savage will not be in the game. The preview had Hogan/Andre from WM3, Rock/Austin from WM15, and Warrior/Piper at WM 7. Of course that should be Warrior/Savage. No shock there of course, but still very disappointing, since he played such a major role in so many important WM moments.

Not only the falling out, but Mick is working on TNA. I doubt that anyone working on TNA right now would appear in the game. (Diesel, Foley, Angle, The Dudleyz, Booker T)

.....and Jimmy Hart....and Piper....and LOD....and Flair and the Undertaker. IGN is announcing every person in the game, regardless of the fact that some of them were released via THQ press releases and/or trailers. They have shown Bret Hart in both of the videos so far, but still have yet to officially unveil him. The Ultimate Warrior was also shown in a couple of the trailers, so we know he is in too. I don't think there are a ton of surprise guys left.

To me, this game should not include active wrestlers like HHH and Undertaker :shrug: Still interested in the simplified engine, and hope theres a demo.

Assuming it's the old school, early 90s "purple gloves, boots, and tie" Undertaker I won't mind (which is probably the case since Paul Bearer is there). Makes sense in the context of early 90s WWF.

Assuming that's all of them, there are a few notable superstars from that era that seem to be missing. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, Macho Man Randy Savage. Tito Santana, Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff, Hillbilly Jim, Demolition, Hercules, and from the 90s Vader, Sid Vicious, Razor Ramon, Owen Hart, Diesel, etc. Hell, even Doink. Some of those are understandable why they're not here (Owen for sure) but others I'm curious about.

I was really hoping for Steamboat and Demolition. I obviously wanted Savage as well but didn't think that was happening. It's still a solid roster and I can't believe Koko slipped in there.

The ones I am almost in disbelief over are Kamala and Michael Hayes- Hayes especially.

I do believe Steamboat is in the game, actually. IGN isn't announcing him, but I think he is going to be an unlockable wrestler. Same goes for Earthquake and Tito Santana.
