Video Game Talk census!

I thought it would be fun to see where everyone plays their games.

Also, could you use your Mod Powers to change "Gaming Max" to "Gaming Mac?" Thanks!

well, i checked everything except gaming mac...do those exist? The poll should be which 1 console/pc/handheld do you do a majority of your gaming on. I'm sure most of us own quite a few.

Does mobile gaming considered as portable gaming device? Not that i ever do mobile gaming, but it seems like an expanding area.

Aw, the only current gen system I own is a DS

I have NES(x2), SNES, Genesis, Dreamcast, PS2, GBA SP, Game Cube, Xbox, the DS. Think that's all of 'em.

I have a PC and a few Macs (Max), but don't game too much on them.

I just picked up a DS as the first system I've purchased since the 1st Xbox and I freaking love the thing! My tastes tend to be towards the classic games, and I couldn't be happier with the little guy.

My roommate has a PS3 and a 360... I play them sometimes, but mostly it's kinda "meh." Even GTA4 lost my attention pretty quickly...

I'd like to get a Wii, though.

I own a lot of previous gen consoles. Atari 2600, NES, SNES, N64, PS1, PS2, and Xbox... but I don't play them anymore. They are stored away collecting dust.

So I just voted for Xbox360 and PC since those are the only two I have played in the last year or so. I still play BC Xbox games on the 360 though. I don't really have a top notch "gaming" PC either (it is almost three years old which is ancient for PC technology), but I still play a lot of older games on it. Last weekend, I just got re-addicted to Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn again. I spent 30+ hours playing it last weekend.

Here's a list of systems currently in my house. Bolded are hooked up and/or used occasionally.

Gaming PC (this is not a "gaming PC" in the sense it can play Crysis, but I play Audiosurf, YHH, things like that)

Nintendo Wii
N64
SNES
NES
DS Lite

Playstation 3
Playstation 2 (still have it, although I lent it out)
Plastation (not mine, friend gave it to me, haven't used it)

Xbox 360
Xbox
(hooked up only so I can play RalliSport Challenge 2)

Sega Dreamcast
Saturn
Game Gear (on loan to me)

Haha, I know! I know!

I meant to imply that I just can't get into these new games. So much going on... I pretty much watch my roommate (major gamer) play these newfangled games and I pick them up occasionally. I really though I'd want to sit around and play with GTAIV more, but I just couldn't do it. It looks pretty awesome though... I am sure I will fool around with it some more, but probably won't do much more than crash some cars and pull some skirt.

I'm not knocking the game at all.

Maybe I am just afraid to fall into gaming again... DVD and film is my vice.

Then again, I can't put down Advance WarsoR... and the SNES/NES get plenty of action.

I'm somewhat surprised the Wii got the votes it did.
Of course, it says which do you 'have', not which do you 'play' or play the most.
PC, 360, Wii, PS2 are all hooked up in the main living area. Haven't used the PS2 in quite some time.
DC, PS1, Sega Gen/32x/CD hooked up upstairs; a couple months back I pulled out Point Blank, that was fun for a little bit.
2600/7800/NES in the garage. Last time I checked the 7800 does work.

360
PS2
Xbox
PSP
GBA:SP
PS1
N64
Dreamcast
SNES

Only system I touch is 360, I have way too many games and not enough time to play other systems. I have been pondering hooking up one of my older systems in the bedroom and jammin on an older rpg, ie FF games, Lunar, Chrono Trigger, etc. The gf is usually keeping the psp and gameboy tied up.

Yeah, I had in mind systems that people actually fire up reasonably often, but since I didn't actually say that, people are voting based on what they have.

For the record, my answer is the same either way -- I currently have a 360, a DS, a Wii, and a PC, all of which I play reasonably often. Before that, I had a PS1 (which I gave away when I got the 360), a NES (which I left behind when I moved out of my parents' house 15 years ago), and a 2600 (which I can only assume is sitting in a box somewhere in my parents' basement).
