To each his own, but I can't imagine you would need to upgrade more then every couple of years, and update drivers every few months. Friend lists didn't exist in the console world til the 360, and Steam right now is pretty good for that. I always think the complaints of PC gaming are exaggerated. That and these days you can easily use your PC with your HDTV and sofa

This is from someone that's primarily been a PC guy until this generation where I've been very happy with the 360 and played Bioshock on it over the PC version. Can't imagine TF2 or Portal with a gamepad though.

Glad to see Call of Duty 4 at #1. Great game, and an awesome sequel to COD2. Let us not speak of the impostor known as COD3. COD4 deserves all the credit it gets!

I think it's great you were able to get a 65" HDTV, gamepad, and sofa for less than a PC upgrade, and you were able to move it all into your home and hook it up with far less hassle than downloading a driver update.

I'm kidding of course, but my point is it's all a matter of perspective on how you look at it.

Heh, I know how sweeping a statement that is, but, well, I like to make say big things like that Plus, I got my point across, right?

(The people who bought Halo really are delusional though ¬_¬)

I'm not real big of FPS games at all, but mouse and keyboard controls never felt good to me. I realize I've always been in the minority feeling this way. The gamepad has always felt better to me when playing FPS games, but I think it's because I prefer the slower movements. Watching someone play Quake or some equally fast game makes me feel old since I can't keep up.
