Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
I'd pick up The Darkness II but I'm sure I can get it cheaper if I wait a few more weeks.
|
Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
Yeah, unless you are dying to play Darkness II this week, that seems like one that will drop fairly quickly.

It's a five hour game. Rent it at Redbox for $2 and save your money for a game with more longevity.

Go there and reserve it online and you'll get the first night free. Even better. |
Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
Today's the last day for that deal, too. I wish they kept a larger backlog of titles, seems like they rotate them out pretty quickly. Though they did stock SSX this week...hmm...
|
Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
Today is another video game Lightning Deals day! And to start us off, only $34.99 for SSX!!
|
Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
 I had to laugh when looking through the expired deals and seeing "2% now claimed" for that one. The second deal of the day expired with 19% claimed. WTF has happened with Amazon when it comes to console games? It's sad to see.

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
Kmart VG deals folded so they have no real competition anymore. No need to have blowout deals.
Of course, that may be overstating how successful Kmart was, but any competition leads to better deals. |

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
Best Buy has been providing fantastic deals, though.
(Edit: beaten to the punch.) |
Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
It seems Max Payne 3 will be one of the deals. I wonder how low it'll go.
|
Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
Amazon's non BF lightning deals haven't been much to look at for a while now (and I think mainly that's because they pale in comparison to BF and Xmas blowouts).
BB is doing great on sales, but the great thing about Kmart was that they were all on brand new releases... not stuff released a month or two ago. |
Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
The lightning deal is currently Max Payne 3 for $29.99. Not a bad deal at all, but I'm still going to wait this game out for a better deal or GOTY version.

Best Buy has been killing it with their deals all year.
I know they've been blowing out old titles for great prices, but what have they done for new releases? |

Deals that don't require magazine subscriptions?
I know they've been blowing out old titles for great prices, but what have they done for new releases? Buy 2 get 1 free sales. Tons of $5-10 games. Cheap collector's editions. As for the Unlocked membership, you're crazy if you don't think $15 is worth what they've offered. The deals are not only on old titles. No one has come close to matching Best Buy's deals this year. |
Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
Insane deal going on at Amazon.com for Borderlands 2 for PC. They are giving 10% off their already discounted price if you buy Borderlands GOTY PC (or already bought it in the last week or so).
They also have a even more discounted 4 pack. After the 10% off deal, it works out to be $36 a copy. Pretty sick. http://www.amazon.com/Borderlands-2-...myd_asin_block |
Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
Tomb Raider (360 & PS3) down to $19.99. Probably price matching Best Buy.

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
Re-release with new & bigger puzzle tombs and I'd be down for a GOTY edition on PS4/X1.

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .
Ordered Tomb Raider...couldn't resist anymore...was hoping to use it in a B2G1 later, but oh well.
Thx for posting MattyS |
