Sounds interesting enough (I wasn't a Kingdom Hearts fan).

It looks like any other recent Final Fantasy title though (with better clothing and hair detail), will have to see some video of it to get a feel for its distinctions apart from the standard franchise entries.

Yup, those are all from Versus XIII.

I've got no interest in the "regular" XIII other than this tasty little gem:

some questions about Flow...

1. Do you have to use SIXAXIS motion? or can i use the analog sticks?

2. Someone told me this is just a beautified version of Snake... did i get the wrong info?

I haven't bought it yet so I can't answer #1, but you can play the Flash version here to get a better idea of the gameplay: http://intihuatani.usc.edu/cloud/flowing/

1. Yes. Sixaxis only.
2. Glorified version of Snake? Sure, why not.

It's worth checking out, but not at full price. Wait until they put it on sale again.

Flow is awesome in my opinion. I played the shortened PC version but haven't tried it on the PS3 yet. I believe they are the same, the PS3 one is just longer.

I got the add-on (or was it the expansion pack) for flOw. It's an okay game, but the novelty is wearing off for me.

You wouldn't want to use the analog sticks on it. By far the best use of the SIXAXIS. It's a surprisingly relaxing game, but I don't play it all that often.

Has anyone bought the new PSN game "PixelJunk Monster"? It seems interesting but I am not sure how the graphics look.

Does anyone know if any third party control maker makes a PS3 gamepad with a layout more like the 360?

I got Pixeljunk Monsters, I highly recommend it. The graphics are in a hand drawn style, I think it works great for the game.

So a newsbit from Kotaku is that Best Buy no longer is getting new stock of 80GB PS3's.

http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2008/01/24/...uing-80gb-ps3/

Interesting, since that means there wouldn't be a PS2 compatible version out there on shelves. Either yet another SKU is coming, or Sony believes it found a "sweet spot" with the 40 GB one.

Anyone here interested in game sharing ? I'm really interested in Castlevania: SOTN and Everyday Shooter. I can offer Super Stardust HD.
Unfortunately I can't buy anything from the US store and the European store is a bad joke.

As already in Europe and Australia, it's highly likely that PS2 BC is finished with. Better hope your unit doesn't break down if you care about that kind of thing.

This is interesting because when I was looking for my PS3 I had BB gift cards so that was pushing me to buy from them. I wanted the 80GB because I knew I wasn't going to find a 60 and I still wanted to play my old PS2 games having just sold my PS2 to a member here. Anyhow I went to three BB stores and none of them had 80GB PS3s, this was just over two weeks ago. I thought it was odd though because I'd been to two of those BB stores just a couple days before Christmas and they had stacks of 80GB units (just my luck) and I had a hard time believing that they'd sold that many $500 units so quickly.

Anyhow two of the BBs told me that they didn't have any and they couldn't order anymore, and one told me I could order one but then when he tried it didn't work for some reason. What is even more odd is then I went to all the stores that are within a couple minute drive (and one in the same plaza) that sell consoles and every single store had at least a couple 80GB units. So I ended up biting the bullet and bought all of my accessories and games at BB with the GC and bought the system at Target. The only thing I can figure is that BB themselves are going to get some exclusive PS3 or have advance knowledge of a new sku or pricedrop and want to purge the 80GB.

There is a fairly long Game Sharing thread over at CAG. I have done it several times with no problems. My only issue with Game Sharing is that you have no way of seeing how many times a game has already been downloaded.

Also, I am pretty sure you should be able to make a US account and buy stuff that way. People do that with the Japanese store.

I have an US account. The problem is that my credit card won't accepted because the adress is not located in the USA. Though there are some people where that still works.
