Rock Star is widely available, as far as I've seen.

I wasn't expecting it to be hard to find. When I went to pick up Rock Band a couple weeks ago, my local KMart had stacks of GHIII ten deep. I just started noticing they they were getting tough to find. The way I see it, if people didn't want to shell out $200 on RB, or if they couldn't find it, GHIII is the next best thing. I see my GHIII collecting dust after my boys open RB on XMas.

I don't know what you guys are talking about because every store I go to where I live has copies of the game stacked to the ceiling in the wired and wireless bundle and just the copy of the game.

Same here. I can't find a copy of PS3 though.

hahaha.

anyways, i think the 360 one is hard to find b/c of the greatness of the guitar. the wireless compatibility and the build of the guitar make it an awesome investment for future guitar games.

GH3 is difficult to find for Wii and Xbox 360... just look at ebay prices lol.

all the local best buys, wal marts, targets, circuit citys have STACKS of the Ps3 version.

Are you sure they are the 360 version and not PS2 or PS3?

The 360 version of GHIII is non-existent in my area and that goes for Rock Band on the 360 as well.

I have seen stacks of the GHIII bundle for the other consoles but the 360 ones are impossible to find in my city and the surrounding areas. The Wii ones have the fewst amount next to the 360 and the PS2 & PS3 versions are plentiful. I saw stacks of Rock Band for the PS3 at Wal-mart today but they still have no 360 bundles.

It will be interesting to see the sales figures once the holiday season is over.

I'm really surprised this is hard to find. I haven't been looking but I've always noticed everywhere I look Rock Band is easily available, usually stacked to the ceiling. I remember GameStop employees touting it would the impossible to get if you didn't pre-order it.

Odd how every game Gamestop carries will be "hard to find" if you don't pre-order it first before thousands of people start storming the store for the privilege of owning dikatana 3.

I see plenty of Guitar Hero II but not 3 for 360. I have seen plenty of Rock Band though.

My wife picked it up a few nights ago for me. I called all the Game Stops in my area and found a store that had one left. The Wal Mart by my house had them but the guitar was not wireless. It does seem to be sold out at most places in Austin.

I picked up 2 copies in the last few days and ebayed them both for $150+. I found one at a Costco and one at a Game Crazy (the original chain that is only in Salem, OR...not the Hollywood Video "franchise" stores)

Soon I will be able to afford Rock Band

I had trouble finding a copy as well. Keep calling and keep checking Best Buy.com for in store availability. I picked up 2 in the last 3 weeks by checking every day (Wanted an extra wireless controller).

I lucked out 2 weeks ago when FamilyVideo offered some GH III for the Wii for sale, and with a $5 coupon, I ordered it for $75 delivered. And today I was surprised when it showed up on my doorsteps, as I thought it should show up after Christmas given their order backlog from previous orders. Good luck for those still looking for this item.
