I need to get back into this and just don't have the time. I am nearing the end of the 2nd disc I think. I played it a lot and one morning I was in this cave where sections of the floor fall out beneath you and forces you to start from the beginning of the cave. It took me about 3 hours to navigate through which could have been done quicker but I was leveling up. Got a phone call and instead of pausing the game, I ended up in a battle and lost without saving and lost all that progress.
I was pissed and didn't want to look at the game. That was a few months ago.

I got it for $15 at Target as well. 18 hours in and I just started the second disc. I'm really enjoying it quite a bit.

Back to my message above, I got back into this game and am falling in love with it all over. I finally made it through the black cave(?) where sections of the floor fall out beneath you. I am almost at the end of disc 2 I think and am at the experimental staff I think it is called. This place was a little confusing but not so bad once I figured it out. Looking forward to disc 3 and 4 as most are saying those are the best parts of the game.
My main gripe about the game is the few and far between save points. The only time I can play this game is when I have about 2 hours to spare. I do have a few questions...
1) I am almost finished Disc 2 and my party is level 30. Is that average?
2) Is there a point in the game, before or after you finish it, that you can go back to certain areas and look for treasure and dreams? I missed a few dreams but would love to be able to find them later on without replaying the game over.

I am? There's plenty of other, faster, easier, less interesting games I could play if it was just for them.
This is just a pain in the ass because it's not like anywhere else in the game and the camera is very prohibitive for looking around to see what you might want to do or where you want to go.

I was tempted to pick this up but from what I'm reading it's not something I can play in short bursts due to the location of save points? I usually can't get more than 30-45 mins of gaming in at a time.
