I just got a Wii for Christmas and was trying to find a copy of Rayman Raving Rabbids... did it get recalled or something or is it just that popular? I can't find it anywhere... not even a used copy. Just wondering. Thanks.

Publishing for Wii games (excluding Zelda/Mario/MP) is a bit bizarre. Like Zack and Wiki is pretty much impossible to find as well.

I thought hurricane bullseye would have been clear enough. Florida, been to Jacksonville, Orlando and Lakeland and they all had it. The problem though is that it is marked on the endcap at $30 so of course getting people to ring it up for $10 is iffy.

Right, no other state could get a hurricane...

Fair enough, it applied more a few years ago whenever I got hit by three hurricanes within three months.

Which Target in Jax? I check the Clearance stuff almost weekly in about 4 or 5 stores and have never seen a copy of Ghost Squad. Recently I've picked up Prince Persia Rival Swords and Metal Slug for about $7.

The problem is that it is at an endcap where the price of the game is clearly marked so it may be difficult to get a cheap price. I have seen ghost squad at the target in orange park and the new one at argyle forest. It was a couple weeks ago though. Where did you pick up prince of persia and metal slug. I haven't seen those games at all in town let alone for $7.

I picked those up @ Town Center. Both came up on the scanner @ "Item not found" but I had a girl with a hand scanner walk me to the register with the clearance price. That is always YMMV, depends on the person with the hand scanner.

True dat. You should still try for that Ghost Squad like everyones mentioned. Theyll just enter a clearence price. If you do and decide to hook a board member up, I give a cool $15 if thats alright

Definitely some interesting stuff in the list. Okami and Endless Ocean are musts and there are several like No More Heroes that are strong maybes.

DodgingCars 01-17-08 08:18 PM

I wont be getting anything until April (due to money), and I may just get Wii Fit.

Ok, I'm still new to the Wii. What Virtual Console games are worth it? Does Tecmo Bowl still have the "real" players in it or are they replaced with new people since there is no NFL license.

I have 2000 points, and not sure what to buy.

Well that really depends on what kind of games you like.

DJ_Longfellow 01-18-08 08:02 AM

I guess I'm a fan of most genres...except RPG. I love sports games....Mario is always good. I was tempted to get SMB3, Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Blades of Steel, Excitebike, Tecmo Bowl....I guess there are a lot of games.

Baseball Stars for NEO GEO.

lordwow 01-18-08 08:13 AM

I'll def grab Okami when it comes out, I've heard nothing but amazing things about it. Though I should probably get through my 5+ game backlog first.

PixyJunket 01-18-08 08:22 AM

Here are three small developers I really like and their VC releases:

The Treasure Pack:
Alien Soldier
Dynamite Headdy
Gunstar Heroes
Light Crusader
Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Earth

The Westone Pack:
Dragon's Curse
Wonder Boy in Monster World (or The Dynastic Hero)
Monster Lair
Riot Zone

The Compile Pack:
Lunar Pool
Zanac
Kirby's Avalanche
Alien Crush
Blazing Lazers
Devil's Crush

You can also see all releases and get a small idea of each game from here:

Ok, I'm lame...how do I find out my Wii friend code?

RichC2 01-18-08 09:17 AM

It's in your address book.

UncleGramps 01-18-08 10:36 AM

Excellent! A screenshot with no other information whatsoever! My favorite kind of post.

Seriously, what game is that? Looks cool.
