Hey guys, I need some quick help. I just upgraded to a 360 Elite and sold my old 360 Premium. I registered the system through the 360 website when I first got it. Is there any way to un-register that now or transfer it to the new owner? Any answers or feedback would be great. Thanks in advance.

Disclaimer: English wasn't this person's first language. I *think* we were on the same page by the end of the call, but it took a bit of back and forth to explain my question. |
Great, thanks!

In the two years I've had the system it's never frozen up. Ever. Yesterday I tried playing the America's Army multiplayer demo. The first time froze the system after about a minute's worth of gameplay. Reboot, went right back into the game and tried again, and again, it froze up after one minute. Rebooted again, got the three flashing red rings. Waited five minutes, turned it back on, and played the Arcade for an hour with no issues. So, I dunno what the problem was... |

What Pixie said.
Which games, from the old Xbox, people is still waiting to be BC? |

Quick quote from Microsoft's Albert Penello (which was in the recent OXM #78):
The number of people who are interested [in backward-compatibility] versus the number of people who play are very different. |
Riddick was a high want until they announced the remake which will suffice at a reasonable price.
I still want Top Spin support. I think a couple of the Prince of Persia games are still MIA. The list is small, but there are still a few out there worth playing. |
I'd like to play X-men Legends 1 & 2 on my 360.

So anyone know anything about how to get the points? We're giving every Xbox LIVE member who has been with us for all five years a gift of 500 MS Points and other exclusive content. Check your email for details, and thanks for being on Xbox LIVE! |
I think I joined in '03. :(
|
I haven't received any email about the free points and I beta tested Live before it went on sale.
|
I joined Live in 2002 but I doubt I will be getting any points since I let my account lapse between my time of dumping my Xbox and just recently getting my 360.

At that point they will update the owner information.
I sold my 360 in June, and I haven't had a chance to have the extended warranty transferred into the new owner's name. The new owner has since had to get the unit swapped due to RROD. I'm wondering if I even need to go through the trouble of finding the extended warranty paperwork or not. |

The only games I still play on my XBox1 (which is at my gf's apartment) are:
- XMen Legends 1 + 2 - MVP Baseball 2005 - ESPN NFL 2k5 I could see the X-Men games possibly getting a BC update, but certainly not the latter two. |

They sent me one too even though I'm a four-year member. Hope I really do get this.

I got my e-mail a little bit ago for it. Already registered and now we'll see how long it takes to get the points.
