The game lets you use a 2nd (or 3rd or 4th) controller as a pointer to point out stuff for the person playing, so it's great for playing together.

Played a couple of levels and really like it. I have heard it gets really hard, but you just replay until you figure it out I guess. My hope is this game ends up like Phoenix Wright and becomes an underground hit. It certainly is one that people are talking about and that could help it find an audience. Honestly it only needs to sell a couple of hundred thousand to be a success for Capcom same as the Phoenix Wright series.

Just beat it. My only gripe is that I basically finished it in two five hour playthroughs. Other than that I can really see this becoming a gem in my collection.

I'm 4 hours in and have already hit a roadblock. One of the ice levels, the one with the robot sweeping the snow. I've died about 10 times trying to figure it out. And no, I'm not asking for help...yet.

Went back and perfected all of the first boards though.

Wow. That sucks. Far from the 30 hours mentioned on the box.

Is there more to it than finding the 16 Barbarosa pieces?

There's one more world after that, and then you beat the game, opening up bonus treasure that you can go back and find. That's probably several more hour right there.

BTW, it ended up taking me 19 hours to beat it, but I could easily see it taking a lot longer (or a lot shorter) amount of time depending on how good your problem solving skills are.

Thanks. My problem solving skills are fine. It is my adventure skills that are rusty.

I love this game, but how in the bloody torment do I do the Bonelich mini-game? The single notes are fine, but I can't for the life of me get through the songs because of the extended line sections. I've tried it just about every way I know how, and it's just not working. I'm holding it just like the little dude, and simply ringing downward, not side to side or anything like that.

EDIT:

I just got it, ugh.

I just wanted to chime in that I've been playing this game a ton and am very impressed. It's a blast and is pretty damn tough sometimes.

For the zig zag parts, you've got to shake the remote really fast. It's a huge pain in the ass, and the only aspect of the game that I feel just doesn't work as well as it should. It's a borderline "broken" gameplay element if you ask me.

I picked this game up a couple weeks ago, gotta say, can't get into it. I like what it's trying to do, but it ultimately just feels like a generic puzzle game.

It isn't bad by any means, but I don't think I'll be keeping it.

Hold the Wii remote like a flute and play the notes as indicated.

I thoroughly enjoyed the game, but kind of feel retarded as a lot of the puzzles felt very difficult to me. I like to think of myself as a smart man, but dang I felt dumb playing this game on some levels. Well worth the money I paid for it.

I'm stuck at "Relics of the Past". Those mechas at the bottom always get me. I just can't seem to get to the console fast enough to flip that T over. Am I missing something? It is really frustrating me!

This game is fun, but I agree with you steebo777. I especially felt retarded with those silly mirrors in "Frost Breath". What a hassle!!!!

That's where I'm stuck. Played it for about 30 minutes, felt like a moron and haven't returned to it.

I haven't given up though, I just got caught up in all the big releases.

I just got to that part last night. I still don't understand. Do you have any pointers?

Youtube

Seriously. I spent an hour on it last night before I gave in. I made it through 2/3rds of the board but had issues with the last bit. I don't usually use walkthroughs but 90 minutes(plus previous attempts) on one board is enough by me. Especially considering I want to finish the game and that was a huge roadblock.

Well ultimately, you have to remember how the reflections work. A 45 degree angle shot NE at a mirrow facing W shoots up 45 degrees to NW. You also need to pick up the "fallen" mirror and use the frozen pirate chick to hold it.

I think I'm gonna pick this game up with some store credit I got. It's either this or try Zelda again. I have always wanted to try the new Simpsons game, despite the reviews.
