I got mine a long time ago when Amazon had it for the DOTD for $60. At $40, anyone would be crazy to pass this up.

Last night I hooked up with inverse cosine for some L4D but before we jumped we got to talking about some past games we'd like to go thru again and Halo 3 came up. It seems like the game came and went fast due to COD4 came out.

I never really got to enjoy the coop part so I know it's a long shot but if anyone for the heck of it wouldn't mind running thru it in coop please post. I know with GTA, Street Fighter and still some current games but to get a break from the current stuff it may still be fun.

Oh, I'm definitely in. During the week, I'm on a little bit of a tight schedule...but I'm good most evenings between 8 and 10 EST.

If ya'll want to start off say Sunday night around at 8 "EST" that's fine. I'm on Central so I can go for an hour or so. If not Sunday then we can start out Monday night.

Man I'm kinda pumped for this. I haven't been pumped for Halo period since the early days of Halo2, playing the "Fight Club" mod with DVD Talkers.

Sorry about last night, guys. After we started freezing, I got booted off Live, then auto-signed back in, only to Red Ring. I'm back up and running though, but I hated being kicked in the middle of a level.

I'm good from 8:30 CST every night this week. I'd love a full run through Legendary with someone(s) that knows where all the skulls are.

pinata, I may be able to play for one hour or something like that. Legendary is pretty doable with 4 people but without using skulls. :D

Do the skulls affect gameplay? I thought they were just for achievements :shrug:

With the skulls I mean if you set the game to use Iron or one of other skulls for the metagame. Yesterday we started with that, and finished the first chapter with like 5K points :D.
Without that, Legendary wasn't that hard with 4 guys.

Man the lag and hesitation last night was terrible. I don't think I've seen it that bad except in some GOW2 but that's with (5) plus players, not (4).

And to get knocked out toward the end of the last level we played was nothing short painful. I'll be on again tonight so maybe we can continue or at least try depending on how bad the lag is. (7:30 Central)

Played some MP last night and wow! what a big difference with other games. In less than 10 seconds I was playing a match. Zero lag!, etc., etc.
