I noticed there was an achievement for car surfing. Has anyone done this?

I got my first freeze today. I had just finished an early mission for the Saints, and I was completing a level of the insurance fraud activity when it happened.

Of course I forgot to save, so I'll be doing it again. I am pissed. I'm gonna go play Dead Space now.

Ok the good news is my progress was saved after all. I guess they have an auto save built in. Nice.

The bad news is I got my second freeze today, and it happened while doing insurance fraud again, although it was in a different part of the city.

I have a newer 360, only a month old, and between freezes I let it sit for a couple hours or so.

Are game freezes game-related or 360-related? I always figured it was the game . Like the Lego games always freeze but Gears of War never did.

It's definitely game related.

I keep playing more activities. I finished Fight Club, Insurance Fraud, and Zombie Uprising. I got to level 4 on both Trail Blazing games, which are really hard. I got stuck on a light pole once, and then wedged in between a fence and a table and had to wait for the timer to run out.

The glitches like this are killing the fun factor.

Oh and I still have only done about 5 missions total (story missions) and that, coupled with the activites I have done puts me at 19% complete so far.

You guys' discussion of this made me go ahead and pick it up tonight during the TRU deal. Played around with it tonight some and it seemed pretty funny though I just went off the beaten path and ran over lots of people.

The customization of you character is crazy. I love the various body types. I end up with a fat white woman with a beard and a Hispanic accent. Don't ask me why.

I also snagged it online. Hopefully i will have it next week.

Perhaps i can jump into some multiplayer with you Spider. :D

Uh...I returned it...umm...today...or something.

I got it for free so nothing lost. However, I think it is as every bit as fun as GTAIV was so I'll be keeping it in my game library.

Kept it for a whole 7 hours, huh?

nickdawgy, I also got my first freeze. Luckily, I was winding down and was about to stop playing anyway. I was in a store trying to buy clothes.

I haven't had once since the second one, and I have yet to (knock on wood) get a freeze during a mission.

That's where mine happened. Both times I was trying to jack a car to drive to another area.

I finished the Brotherhood missions today. Great storyline. I am about 33% complete.

It froze on me last night after I passed the mission where you take over the mission. I haven't booted it up yet to see if it saved cause that mission is a little repetitive.

I just booted up and there was an update maybe it's a patch for the freezing. ANyone heard anything about an update.

So, there's a mall you can go to in Nob Hill that has 3 different clothing shops. Which is very cool because I was starting to think everything on the map was all there was. There's also a jewelry shop where you can eyebrow and tongue piercings.

This game rocks the socks off GTA. SR gets not respect :(

Woo-hoo, just got my copy in the mail from eBay. Looking at the song list for that 80's station, I can't wait to cruise around running people over listening to it. :)

Man this game kicks the shit out of GTA4. Much more fun. Me and a friend put 6 hours into co-op yesterday. At one point we were doing escort missions, as he drove and i serviced ladies in the back seat, via the ho-ing mini game. Awesome stuff.

I may have to pick this game up soon. Damn you people and your word of mouth!

A neat thing I found... I had a Saint follower and I jumped on one of the Ronin bikes (which doesn't allow for a passenger). My follower actually got on the other Ronin bike that was sitting there and drove around beside me. We were like a mini biker gang.

I was doing Crowd Control earlier today. It's tougher then it looks. Those damn fans and their bats, and then the dudes with guns....ugh!

I was flying around the other night and saw something odd, but funny. A guy screaming for his life as he fell past my plane and to his death. Maybe a glitch, but funny nevertheless.

Flying the UFO is pretty fun and is even more fun to jump out and parachute down while leaving your partner in the passenger seat.

I got the code for the UFO, but I don't want to disable achievements.

I've received a few trophies on the PS3 after having used the UFO code so I'm not 100% sure if this particular code disables achievements or not.

Anyone care to post the UFO code?

Not on this game. SR 2 doesn't support trophies.

Wait, wasn't the UFO code a pre-order bonus? They wouldn't give a preorder bonus that disables Achievements.

Didn't get a chance to play last night...so the co-op, can you actually progress through the story that way? Or just play missions that have already been unlocked by one person?
