Well, I THINK I uploaded a video, but I'm having the same problems some of you were and can't get signed in correctly. EA sucks.

So if you can get logged in the right way, I'm not sure if you can search for a vid by gamertag, but does somebody wanna see if they can find mine? It's nothing special, just curious if it worked - gamertage is 'aktick'.

I logged in and did a search for your gamertag and went to add you to my friends list (to check your vids) and it couldn't find anything. I did a search for my gamertag and it showed up fine. Make sure you check your email when linking your "persona", because you have to click a verify link in there before it actually works. This was my holdup for a while as well.

Thanks...no luck though. I ended up getting a verification email, clicked the link in it, it just said "invalid," even though it actually has my gamertag on my account.

So I tried a different email, setting up a new account, and it gave me the same BS. I also tried both in IE and Firefox, cleared cookies and temp files, all that crap. Something's messed up with EA, because I'll log in, half the time it won't log me in and just kick me back to a login page, other times it'll log me in, but won't remember me even though I checked the "remember me" box, just random crap like that.

Pretty annoying, but whatever, I guess it's not a huge deal.

I'd like to ask the same, my tag is SPECIALporpoise.
The 1st day I logged in I was able to create an account and link my gamertag
as my persona, but since then all I get is either redirected back to the log-in
prompt or an error message stating that the link is erroneous and will never
complete. Maybe if someone could find the page with our uploads we could
bookmark it and get in from there?

try using this link to tie a gamertag to a new account. It is how I ended up getting mine to work. Sorry it took me a while to post this but I could not find the link.

I finally got my PS3 username linked to my ea persona (had to contact their customer support), but I still don't see videos. I even uploaded one last night.

Any ideas?

The site is a mess. After jumping through every possible hoop I could find I still
can't login correctly. I tried links provided, creating new account, creating a
classic EA account... they all claim to have worked, and I got the e-mails, but
nothing gets past the continual login or bad redirect links for me. What's even
sadder is that a few of the guys at EA I know can't either. Petty as it may
sound, that makes me smile

I need to get this game. I've run out the demo timer on the PS3 at least five times. I love the controls in it. I downloaded the Tony Hawk demo after I liked Skate so much, but didn't care for that one.

Despite the fact that you can't get to your uploaded videos and the online version sucks (PS3), I am in love with this game.

Yup. Those are some new dynamic ads. I have absolutely no problem with putting ads into games, as long as they're not overly obtrusive or game-obstructing in any way. They've done the same thing in Crackdown and probably countless others as well.

I'm on "The Cover" shoot for Skateboard Mag, where you have to gap those stairs & get 475 points.

Any advice? I can't clear the stairs, I can get within a few feet. Starting to get annoyed.

Nevermind. I got it. Try forever, then ask here and get it within 5 minutes.

That part took me at least 25 tries. I never could clear them either. One time it just sort of happened. I bet you had the same experience.

Now what's holding me up is the films for Thrasher. Some of them are damn hard. Like the ones where you need to get a bunch of points and grind so many times in a no-skate zone - is there a certain place you guys go for those? I've yet to find a good no skate zone where points can be racked up easily.

2 floor of the area down town with the big 30 step rail slide, the guard never comes near the rail, and if you can link the first few rail tricks on the curved rail you will get a 3x multiplier and the rest becomes easy.
