Factor 5 says games need more sex
Games need more sex
The main article talks about how the president of Factor 5, Julian Eggebrecht, is complaining about the ESRB rating system. He says that movies can be ultra violent and get away with it, but when a game tries to do the same thing it is either banned outright or given the AO rating, effectively banning it. Nothing weird or funny about that. It has been discussed many times before.
Then the article ends with this:
Does that make sense to anyone? It sounds like he is saying that games are looked upon as being for children because there is not enough sex in games. So I guess he thinks games with no sex = for children and games with sex = for mature adults?

Eggebrecht also says that he wants to see more sex in games. He told the audience, "Games do not have sex and there is something wrong with that because it says essentially that games are what children play."

Dragon sex ftw!
I take it he was a huge fan of God of War and Fahrenheit (UK release of Indigo Prophecy). (Spoilers and NSFW... if, well, yeah: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yUZaazZXso )

I wonder if Factor 5 had planned to put dragon sex in Lair, and that is the reason they are complaining about the ESRB. Maybe that is why the game was delayed a month; they had to take out all the dragon sex scenes.

That sex scene in Indigo Prophecy was actually kind of disturbing when you realize that

Can't wait to go for a gold medal in their sex game once again built on the Rogue Squadron engine. I'm sure there will be a level where you have to shoot her in the leg with a grappling hook and then run around her a bunch of times before she falls over for sweet loving.

I want to put my support behind Jenna Haze's anal revenge as the first game in this exciting new genre.
but seriously we now know why spore is being delayed. Will Wright is trying to make money shots work on next gen consoles.
