I picked it up for $48 at CC. I love these style of games. No thinking involved, just shoot shit up and make it look good. It's also nice and short, because anything over 6-8 hours and I doubt I would have even finished it. These type of games are best played in shorter play sessions anyways.

I finished this last night, 4 days after I got it. Very short indeed. I'll be getting rid of it since I only paid $38 for it. I am only out around $8 or so I'd imagine.

Fun game, though. Terrible plot.

Ok, send me an email and we can work out the massive processing, shipping, handling, and freight fees.

The multiplayer is alright. Not that many people playing and those those are run 1 minute matches to get quick online achievements.

If left in the oven a little longer the multiplayer for this game could've been better. The biggest problems with it are that it essentially comes down to whoever can get to the paper cranes first to unleash a barrage/spin attack. Also if your opponent does manage to do a special move, there is no indication when you look at their character. Gets kind of annoying to unload an entire clip on someone then realizing they were using barrage or spin attack.

The lack of maps (7 total) hurts it too as well. There aren't that many weapons too and the Golden Guns/Heavy Machine Guns on certain maps make the already broken multiplayer, even more unbalanced.

I'm playing through the multiplayer now, since I beat the game last week. It's not complete terrible, just way flawed. Going to see how many online achievements I can legitimately get before I put the game away for now.

I have been waiting for the PS3 CE, but I just heard that it was delayed until the end of October, because of Halo 3's release. The only reason I wanted the PS3 version is that it includes the movie, "Hard Boiled" on Blu-ray - I thought that was a steal.

But, all has gone to Hell and I'm considering buying (or renting) the 360 version instead, Apparently, the CE is not coming to Canada and the movie isn't even on a separate disc. They also say that it will only work with the PS3, due to the fact that the Weinsteins are releasing it on HD-DVD.

Should I import that shitty sounding CE in a month, or should I just get it for the 360/eventually get this rumored HD-DVD release? Is it even worth paying almost $80 Canadian for it?

Why is that shitty? It's always been geared toward the Gamer. A cool little bonus for buying the game, not for people that just want the movie.

I enjoyed the hell out of this game. It was definitely worth the $38 I spent on it. I wouldn't recommend it for $60 or even $50 but it's worth a rental.

PS -- there is a glitch in the game for an easy achievement. After you beat the game on any level, go to "continue" and choose "Hard Boiled". Watch the cut scene and get the achievement.

God, will this ever be released for PS3, I thought it was supposed to come out this week, but found out at work it was pushed back again.

Late to this party, picked it up last weekend. Started on Hard and it's kicking my ass. Probably played 3-4 hours and still haven't finished the second level. I might have to take it down a notch.

I thought the game was pretty difficult even on normal difficulty. The main problem was that it was often really had to discern where I was being shot from.

The first couple levels were fun, but this game really stretched about 20 minutes of gameplay into 7 hours.

It definitely feels that way. I loved the demo and couldn't resist getting the game. So far it seems, the demo is all you need. Oh well, it's fun.

I have to agree with your complaint. That's why I'm stuck on the second level. I'm trying to take down the four boats but it is way to easy to get turned around or backed into a corner getting shot from god knows where.

I picked this up a couple of weeks ago at Best Buy and just opened it yesterday to find an empty case. Well, the instructions were there, but no disc. I wasn't expecting the best game in the world but rather a bit of a diversion. I was certainly expecting at least a game.

That sucks. Same thing happened to me about 5 years ago. Luckily it was as if EB Games was used to that complaint and replaced the game no questions asked.... that said, I didn't wait long to open the game. Good luck getting it replaced.

The 360 version of the game is on clearance for $14.98 at some Targets right now. I may pick it up just for a quick run through. I heard it was fun...

I tried to like it, but have the same complaints. I've never finished it and probably never will. I'm keeping the PS3 version simply because it has hardboiled on it.

Picked this up for $15 at Toys R Us on clearance. It's a lot of fun to play between games. Graphics look great too.
