Also, I hear Tiger Woods 08 uses the camera for the Game Face feature which might be cool. If you NEED the headset anyway, it's probably worth the $17 to get the set.
Off hand, Uno, Texas Hold Em, Spyglass Board Games, Backgammon use the camera. Bomberman takes a picture at the end of the round. You can video chat I suppose as well. R6:Vegas uses the camera to put your face on your online profile, but it's pretty badly done. As far as the included games, Uno is great (it goes for 400 points in XBMA), Robotron is lame (IMO) It goes for 400 pts and is apparently being given away with the current promotion. They also include 200 points which isn't much ($2.50). |

Feel free to add me to your lists...gamertag is in my sig. |

I got the camera bundle this time last year for about $40, so $60 seems quite high to me. |

The groups depend on what game you are interested in. For instance if you want to play Lost Planet the group consists of Giantrobo.
There are several of us on the board that play in the 8-Bit Brigade clan and socialize on our clan board as well. Sadly enough i have over a thousand posts on that board as well. We mostly play FPS - Halo, Rainbow Six etc. Several of us in that clan also play Forza, Chromehounds and a few other games. I believe the big games for our clan this fall will be Halo 3 (obviously) but also CoD4, Team Fortress 2, and Rock Band. A few people in the clan who post on here are Canis Firebrand, Czarcastic, Duster, Martin5, UncleGramps, and probably a person or two i'm forgetting are also on this board (does Primal Urges post here?). Anyone is welcome to get in some games with us, post in the forum, and possibly sign on to join the clan and hopefully get in some good clan challenges. 8BB doesn't really have many people who play Gears or that got into CoD2. Tbird, alx, goLucky, TNAJason, Deftones, HotThang, FSUNole, and a few others aren't 8BB but are a regular group for CoD2 and Gears. Martin and i are a bit of an oddity in that we regularly play with both groups. So pick your poison based upon what games interest you. To be honest, picking several of the names i listed above would get you into some good games and meeting some good gamers. From there you can weed out those you don't like and friend request those you get along well with. If i forgot anyone, my apologies. If anyone is interested in 8-Bit Brigade feel free to scope out our site or send me an email (my address is available on this forum) and i'll be happy to chat with you or add you to my friend list and get you into some games. Personally, i think CoD4 will be the game where i will see a much larger crossover between the 8BB crowd and the "Gears" crowd. |
Forgot me, you asshole. :P

Yeah I know those screenshots are from an early build, but it still doesn't look that mindblowing. Another thing, what is up with all the blood and dismemberments. Ninja Gaiden is violent sure, but not God of War violent. Xbox NG didn't have nearly that much blood. I hope Team Ninja doesn't alter/butcher this game just to please the teenage crowd. |

Yes, the first Ninja Gaiden was violent, but not over-the-top God of War/Mortal Kombat style violent. Looking at those NG2 screenshots, almost every single one shows arms, legs, and heads being ripped off with gallons of blood spraying everywhere. One screenshot even shows an enemy being ripped in half at the torso. NG1 did have blood, but it was fairly minimal. The only dismemberment that NG1 had was the occasional head decapitation on a few of the enemy models and it was without the over-the-top fountain of blood effect. |
But I could take screenshots of the point of greatest blood spurt too. I think we should wait until we see it in motion to judge whether or not it is a significant difference.
Wasn't there dismemberment in the first? Maybe not of humans, but I swear I was cutting monsters in half. It has been 3 years, though, I guess and I only played it once. |
I don't mind a lot of blood and some dismembering, but that's definitely a bit too over the top.

Just a little FYI, the next round of the Pontiac Halo contest goes up at midnight. I'll post the unscrambled anagram as soon as I figure it out.

If you had a kitana like Ryu does, that's pretty much what would be happening if you went slashing. He's not fencing.

True, but ten gallons of blood doesn't spray out in the process...

I don't really have a problem with it. I still plan to buy the game. My first impression on seeing the screenshots was just Warrior Within deja vu. The excessive blood is just comical and seems tacked on to please the teenage crowd. |
