Will we ever see a wireless Nunchuck? I don't mind the current set up but sometimes that cord to the remote gets in the way.
|
I was thinking the same thing about the wireless Nunchuck tonight, especially after playing Metroid and having the chord fly up half a dozen times. That and the ability to use an external HD would make the Wii even better.
|
I've got no problems with the nunchuck, but I do want a wireless classic controller.

The new Winamp Beta can stream your playlist to your Wii.

I was just coming to post that. I kinda like it. Based on a review/feedback, I may pick it up. Wires suck. Actually has rumble as well.
|
That looks ugly.. and it's probably shite as most third party controllers are. :(

So, anyone talking about the latest VC news? (edit - I see there's a separate thread as well, so the answer is obviously 'yes').
http://kotaku.com/gaming/death-of-th...ole-299828.php They've announced that, starting next month, they'll be rolling TurboGrafx CD and TurboDuo games onto the Wii's retro catalogue. Games from both systems will set you back 800 points, and the plan is to make them available across all regions. Yes, Europe and Australia, that includes you as well. As for games, Ys Book I & II and Chou Aniki will be amongst the first available. http://kotaku.com/gaming/too-good-to...les-299786.php The earlier reports were right on the money. Nintendo have officially announced (and I've been officially playing) the first "Hanabi Festival" for the European and Australian Virtual Consoles, which will over the next three weeks see games "never before released" in these markets thrown up on the VC. You ready? This isn't a dream. Week 1 is Mario week, and has seen the original Super Mario Bros 2 (Japan-only version) and Mario's Super Picross (WARNING: tons of Japanese text) made available. Next week (21 September) is Ninja week, with the NES's Ninja Gaiden and Ninja JaJaMaru-Kun showing up. Third and final week (28 September) is Sci-Fi week, which sees the release of Sin & Punishment and Gradius III. Somebody hold me. |

^ Yeah, I edited my post after I found that thread.

Has anybody tried this Wii Remote/Classic Controller clip?

Is that how the Classic Controller connects? That looks pretty cumbersome. I think I'd rather use the wavebird.

http://www.joystiq.com/2007/03/28/ny...-wiimote-grip/ I've been really tempted to get this and probably will at some point. It is only $7 from Amazon. Will probably pick it up whenever I get something else to bump it to free shipping. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...d=2QCTYGDMN1LN |
Completely unrelated to the matter at hand but i still have yet to find a Wii in the wild. I'm nearing the time when i will have all the cash to snag it + Wii Play and i'm really wondering if i will even be able to find one.

this was a month or so ago and there were several available. |
*sigh* So they're adding more systems to the VC, which means less games coming out for the systems I care about.
Really, all I want at this point are River City Ransom and Super Mario RPG. That'd be enough to convince me to turn my Wii back on. BlastCorps would be nice, too, but I'm guessing we'll never see that on the VC or on XBLA. |
Anyone looking forward to Mysims. I was but it looks like there are no mini games or multiplayer. Though the building part looks pretty good but that seems to be entire game.
|
I'm looking forward to it. If it's anything like Animal Crossing, it should be good.
|
Im looking forward to getting a wavebird and some gamecube games as I never got a gamecube. I've been looking and it doesn't seem any store carry them anymore. Anyone know where I can get one besides ebay. WHat gamecube games is worth getting too?
