Wii: Super Smash Bros. Brawl
I check out IGN every now and then and see all this stuff about Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The screenshots look odd to me for some reason.
What is this game about?
Is it a fighter game like Mortal Kombat or something?

It's a sequel to one of the biggest games on the Gamecube. It's a platform fighter with many characters from the nintendo universe (mario, luigi, bowser, pikachu, samus, etc).

Pick up Super Smash Bros. Melee for the GC on the cheap. One of the best games for the GC generation. And you'll know exactly what Brawl will be about. Plus it'll save me trying to describe it whereas you'll just spend more time with the fun.

This is the game my kids are looking forward to the most for the Wii. The Cube version seemed a bit too spastic/frantic to me compared to the N64 version which I really enjoyed, but I think my kids prefer the newer one. On both games, it was fun trying to unlock all of the characters and playfields, along with the trophies.
