Killzone: Liberation

Killzone: Liberation is a great game for the PSP. The game has been out since last December. Read the Dvdtalk review here.

Update:

Just about a month ago an update came out that gives you a new single player campaign mission and 2 new multi-player maps, all free. The big news is a patch is also available that allows 8 person online multi-player vs. just the ad-hoc mode available before. The game also supports a headset for chating like SOCOM. You can create friends lists as well like XBL. More details at www.killzone.com

I was online last night for about an hour and had a blast. Anyone with this game can send me a friend request. My psp gamer tag is the same as my XBL name edstein.

Based on this added content, I would move the rating from Recommended to Highly Recommended at least. Maybe even collector series.

From within the game, you can first download the patch and then you can download the new maps. It's about 66mb for the new content.

To those in Canada, EB Games just dropped their price on (new copies of) Killzone: Liberation to $14.99 CAD too. So all the more reason.

Here is some info regarding the headsets.
