Ordered this from Steam on Tuesday (naturally the next day I discover it was $10 cheaper at the local Fred Meyer store AND that they're having a 10% off sale on PC games this weekend! :gah:)

Anyway, I've been enjoying the hell out of it so far. Haven't had this much fun since HL2. Being the shy sort though I've never done any online gaming since I don't really relish the notion of being cursed at by some 15 year old if I make a mistake. You guys make it sound tempting though.

You GOTTA play it online man, it is rediculously fun playing online with other people. I haven't really had many bad experiences besides the occasional annoying jerkoff who thinks it's funny to make his character keep saying "PILLS HERE! PILLS HERE! PILLS HERE!" over and over and over.

Hopefully I'll be picking up a headset this week and I can give it a try.

Beign able to play with other actual living perseons might make it more fun and less creepy during those late night sessions. :)

Got my headset, but haven't really used it much. But multiplayer has been fun! At least when I find a good group (and not 'every man for himself' or the ocassional tard who starts shooting the other players as soon as the game starts.

I finally made it through Blood Harvest which had me whipped on single player. It felt good to win the level, but is it normal to feel bad when you ride off and leave a player behind underneath a Hunter?

It's all for one and one for all...till the chopper/boat/etc comes. Then, it's get-the-hell-out...at least that's how we played last time I went online. When it came we were "Go! Go! Go!" and one guy did get pounced right at the end.
Better 2 survive than none. I've seen too many horror movies where the person in front turns around to help the guy who fell down, and they both get whacked :)
Sometimes you feel bad, and sometimes you're just thankful *you* made it.

I definitely suggest playing with people you "know" or at least know of. I played a campaign Saturday with some folks from another board and it was great; then we played Versus against another team of 4 and got our clocks cleaned, it wasn't fun. Obviously they had played Versus together before. (I wish it had an offline mode where you could learn how to handle the Infected.)
But yay for playing with people you know, and definitely yay for co-op/campaign.

Feel free to add me for some adult companionship (wow that sounded bad) to play sometime, generally after 9 Eastern, and preferable campaign or Survival, on 360. GT is my username here.

You can throw my name in the hat, never a dull moment when it comes to zapping zoombies with fellow DVD Talkers. I'm a bit rusty since I've only played once in the last three or so weeks. Still want to get past the 9 min mark in survial. They say when you get past 10 min then everything is not so bad.

Are we talking XBox, or PC version here? ( I have the PC version) I wouldn't mind getting in with some of you guys.

Replayed Blood Harvest today with another group and made it through with everyone intact! (hiding in the barn ftw!)

I checked in for a few minutes last night (8:30 central) and only saw about (6) on. What time are you planning on (zone)? I'm up for a run-thru or even survial..more like "Frustration".
