On the topic of Shadowrun, I'm curious how the final game compares to the beta version. I'm strongly considering picking it up but I need a nudge.

100 times better. I hate Lost Planet, and Shadowrun is my 3rd favorite game behind Gears and COD2.

I'd love to play Shadowrun tonight to get more people in.

EDIT* Plus Shadowrun you can put in Bots to even things up instead of random asshats like last night on LP.

I thought last night was going to be Shadowrun?

I looked online and you were all playing COD2, so I didn't even bother turning on my system.

Same here Canis. That has happened every single time people on here have said they were going to play Shadowrun and i was able to join in. To be honest i think the schedule idea has sailed - too many games out night that people are interested in to have a nailed down schedule.

Hey Martin, I think people no longer bother reading your posts:

"I'd have no problem moving Shadowrun to Tuesdays, but at least for the remainder of the week lets keep things the way they were intended to be. If we put GOW in On Thursday that would make Wed-Fri all GOW lol. Not that it matters with all the new games in the pipeline, this will all change soon enough."

Yesterday was COD2 night, so yes Miyu, we did follow the schedule.

I just picked up Shadowrun, so hopefully we can get a game going tomorrow night. Anyone interested in some Bomberman tonight?

I saw Martin's comment - i just assumed the several people who said they wanted to play Shadowrun would. Not a huge deal really.

Perhaps i thought that way because i don't really follow the schedule and just kind of play what i'm in the mood for or jump into whatever party has formed for the night if there is space.

I did pick up Bomberman but i work tonight Gramps. I may be on late - but am not sure.

Yes it should be. I have company over but my friend has very kindly said I could play tonight while he watches some of my DVDs. So I'm ready to cut loose and Chainsaw/Boom some asses!

Miyu the idea may have sailed for you but I at least like to make sure I know what to expect to play on a given night and if people make the slightest effort to stick to the schedule we won't have the problem we were having a month or so back when all we did was play GOW every night even though many weren't enjoying it anymore. We all like to play other games but sometimes we find ourselves in a bit of a rut playing the same shit over and over even though we have a stack of games sitting on the rack.

Anyone interested in adding Rainbow Six Vegas to the rotation? With the map packs being free now I thought some people might want to start playing it again. If there are a few "second-tier" games (ones that have a little interest here but not wide appeal), maybe we could have one night with multiple games.

I'd be interested. Buzz and myself tried doing some Terrorist Hunt last night.

Heck, I'll try anything. Me and TF64 gave coop T-Hunt a go (1st time) and we kept running out of time. Haven't done MP on RS:Vegas but the coop was fun.

I'm down for some co-op T-Hunts as well. They seem to give the most XP for the least amount of time, and I'm still working my way up the ranks to Elite.

Then the three (or four) of us need to give it a go on coop. Pick a day and time. Right now i"m playing Dirt though I do miss GoW but don't have the new map pack.

If enough people buy Bomberman we need a DVDTalk tournament at some point.

I still have to download and play the demo. I've never played Bomberman at all. But reading all the posts about it has me excited to try it.

If it is good enough, I may be talked into buying it if it has lasting appeal.

I've yet to win a ranked match online but i'm topping my friends list for offline bot play based upon the tons of games i have been playing. I'm chasing the stupid bee costume.

Side note, you can unlock costume pieces in single player and player matches online. Just not ranked.

Must be nice to have the summer off.

I've been enjoying the offline mode so far. It's impressive how many options and modes there are. I've been out of the loop on this series since the SNES days so there's a lot to get familiar with. I'll try some online matches if we can get enough DVDTalkers together. Maybe tonight before or after Shadowrun?
