I have a problem with my XBox system (the original). I play it, then all the sudden it shuts down on me & I see a yellow lite flashing & I can't turn it on or eject my disc. So I turn the power off & on from my power surge protector, turned the system on, got my disc out, yet it shut off, just like that every time I turn it on.

Now the light doesn't blink as much after I shut it down. It'll blink for 5-30 seconds now, but will still get the same thing when I turn it on. It will turn on but shuts off after half a second to 3 seconds.

What's wrong with it?

I'm not sure, but that seems like it could be overheating. Check and make sure the fan in the back is still working properly. Hopefully its not a harddrive issue.
