Resident Evil 4 (PS2) Glitch?
I'm at what I believe is the last shooting range in the game (on the island) and I have won all of the bottle caps up to this point, so I've got the first three rows completed. For some reason, I can't seem to win any in this last range. It's been a while since I've played, so I thought maybe I wasn't scoring high enough, but from what I've read online you only need to get over 3000 to win all but 1 of the figures on a particular row. I've been doing that and haven't had any luck. My overall high score on the range from earlier in the game is 4600. I'm just hoping I don't have to beat that to win something. Anyone have any idea what the problem is?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Your personal high score never matters. There is always one "rare" bottlecap per row. To get the rare bottlecap, you must shoot every single ganado target. Your score does not matter when you do this, so just go for body shots rather than head shots. To get every other bottlecap, you must have a score of 3000 or higher. That's all there really is to it.

Sorry if I wasn't clearer. I have gotten all of the bottlecaps in the first three out of four rows, and just reached the newer shooting range. No matter what I do (shooting every target or hitting 3000 points) I don't win any prizes. The only slight possibility I can see is that my overall playtime has affected something (I tend to leave the game sit paused/unpaused while I'm not playing, so the playtime is maxed out at 99 hours on my save file). I don't know why this would affect the shooting range, but it's the only possibility I can think of, since no one else seems to have had the same problem.
I just continued on past the shooting range...don't think I can get back to it now, unless I start up an older save, as I have dropped down the garbage chute into the next area.
