What games do you have installed right now?

WoW
Sims 2
Sims (and all the expansion)
Magic the Gathering
Warcraft 3
Morrowind

I think that's it, besides the standard Windows games.

Several installed that I've borrowed from a friend, but I haven't gotten around to playing most of them at all yet (damn Ph D comp exam coming up).

Call of Duty and an expansion pack for it
Civilization 4
Icewind Dale 2
Neverwinter Nights and 2 or 3 expansion packs
Torment
Bejeweled 2
Quake 4

Also have Half Life 2 and HL2 episode 1, but haven't bothered installing them as it seems like they probably won't work without scanning CD key and e-mailing Valve which I don't want to do since they're my buddies games.

Hasn't MS said that Vista will be able to play games off-disc in the future? Installing games sucks.

I had to scrape everything and start over with things more or less about oh 6 months ago. Before that I would have been a good sized list. The only game I miss is Guild Wars and maybe Half Life 2. Both of which I think are going to be pain to reinstall. Guild War I'm not completely sure what my password was and Half Life 2 I'm not sure about the steam thingy. We shall see I guess if I ever get around to messing with them again.

To use Steam, you need your buddy's email address (which serves as the login name) and his password. If your buddy gives them to you, then you can install and play HL2 on your PC. Without them, you have to email Valve and have them reset the CD-key (which erases your buddy's login info from the CD-key) and you don't want to do that.

There are also hacks that let you play singleplayer HL without logging in to Steam, but they are not exactly legal...
