Mine is set to recreational (18,000pts). I play games to have fun. Is that not 'recreational?' Can I throw down with the big boys? Sure, but that to me isn't necessarily fun. It can be, but I consider 'pro' to be for the competitors.

That's why I keep him around, if he doesn't produce he gets sent to his room. Also, with another on the way maybe I can double my score.

I had trained an escaped circus monkey named Mr. Hibbles to rack up my achievements for me. He worked for vodka and bananas, but unfortunately died of alcohol poisoning at 2:47 A.M. on New Year's Day.

I miss you, Mr. Hibbles.

I too am a Recreation gamer. Those titles are more of how you play rather than how much you play so the score shouldn't reflect the title or vice versa. I am sure a ton of these people who buy a 360 just for Halo 3 will set theirs to Pro and then end up with whatever points they can get out of Halo 3. I still considered them Pros because they can whip my ass at Halo.

The Recreational, Pro, Underground etc isn't for frequency that you play or the amount of points you get in a game.

They are for the style of play you have. Recreational means you enjoy games, but they aren't the be all, end all. You like to have fun in a game and don't care much if you win or lose.

Pro is all about the winning. Underground means you'll probably hear more trash talking and swearing then the other ones.

Family is parents and kids.

Makes sense.

For some reason I was equating the label with frequency of play.

I've been playing almost nothing but Lost Planet multiplayer for the last few months so my points have come to a halt. There are some online points to get but I haven't hit all of them yet.

I'm at 4595

Once/If I get Gamefly I'll rent a bunch of crappy licensed games to catch up with folks in the 20,000+ point squad.

I wish you could sort that Custom GamerScore group by genre. I'd have to be near the top for Arcade.

I was having problem with getting nasty pictures sent to me and getting bounced from games, because of being a girl, so I had to change my name.

Sorry for the confusion

You probably already know about it, but you may want to try out Gamerchix . They have grown to a couple thousand members as of late.

Add me to the group of folks confused with your recent name change. Having seen this in the forum sure saved me the embarrassment of having to message you and ask you.

I'm #79 on the list.
Wasn't the DVDTalk list recently updated? I'm at 1760 (not 2000+ I mentioned upthread...that was wishful thinking, apparently) or so but not on the list.
