Infinity Ward plans to email out tokens in small groups to ensure Xbox Live servers can withstand the added users. Please be patient and wait until you receive your Token. Why do these sites that have signups like this not ever beef up their servers/bandwidth to not have problems? I can't even get the site to load now for the last 15 minutes.

There has to be a better system than this for distributing beta keys.

What an absolute disaster. At 3:15 EST, I finally got through the page and was able to get the Enter Now button to work.

When it opened the new page, it stated

Either people got really lucky, or someone managed to hack and get all the keys. Or, they had such a small amount that they went in seconds if people managed to get through.

Oh well. Plenty of other games to keep me busy. ;)

I really do hope Msoft comes up with a smoother way to distribute random beta stuff.

This CoD4 thing has me slightly annoyed because i checked their site daily, read all the things and surveys that got you points. Basically i consumed marketing materials to increase some rank on my account... then they just have random beta invites that makes it so it is complete luck who gets in. It aggravates me because it ought to reward in some way those of us who consumed their marketing.

Ah well, i will just play it when it comes out. I'm not sure i will even try for future invite releases on this title. The timing out infuriates me too much. It's not like they should be surprised at the rush.
